Because it's a Facebook video, I don't believe I can link it here, but I recommend that people follow this link and watch the accompanying video even if you don't have a Facebook account, as it's rather amusing: www.facebook.com/video.php?v=1103072546373642To business. For the next thirteen days, asking questions in the comments of the linked Facebook post will give you the opportunity to be answered by Lemony Snicket himself! He'll be providing his answers on Monday, July 27th. If you have a Facebook account, don't miss this chance to ask if Ellington is really Beatrice or what was in the sugar bowl! Even if you can't ask, it should be interesting to hear the answers.

Oh man the chalk (paint?) outline of a body next to the book. Hooray more Snicket-related archive footage stuff. And I'm loving the fact that someone has asked him 'will you watch my children on Saturday night?'.

I have so many questions, yet so little Facebook accounts.

We now have a Snicketmail for this, along with the tour appeal: --- Questions? Ask Snicket on Facebook. --- ATTENTION: Regard this email with suspicion. It was sent by a trusted associate, nefarious nemesis, or both. SNICKET FACEBOOK Q&A!Even while Mr. Snicket is busy manufacturing the paper to print the final volume of the All the Wrong Questions series, he's made time to answer your #ATWQ questions. Post them on Facebook here.Mr. Snicket will supply answers on July 27th. Is your U.S. town in need of Lemony Snicket's assistance? There are only 13 voting days left to send Snicket to your city this fall. Several associates have already made some very compelling arguments: TO VOTE: Post your town with the hashtag #SnicketTour to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or Tumblr. Voting ends July 29th.---

I'm pretty sure he's accepting Facebooks of all nations, though.

Come on Dante, getting a questioned answered online is cold comfort.

I had to force my Mum to post a comment on there because I am that desperate to get a question answered.

If it is like any other of his Q&A's, he won't answer questions relating to ASOUE or ATWQ; only 'personal' questions.
We may never get the answers we have so desperately asked after The End was released.

To be fair, quite a lot of the questions asked about the narratives aren't things he would ever actually answer, because they'll be answered in ?4. Or never. I think a more interesting question to ask would be about the parents of various characters in ATWQ, or other background fluff which might be important but isn't yet.

Well, he has answered questions about the narratives: he answered a question about Theodora's previous apprentice, for instance, in a way that, though mysterious at the time, was perfectly clear in retrospect. But obviously the questions left unanswered at the end of ASOUE were things that were meant to be mysterious.

Someone's got you covered, but I'm not sure if I expect it to be answered or not. Depends on the format.

Someone knows if Snicket did something like this before? I'm curious about what kind of questions he's going to answer, if only the jokey ones (like that girl who asked him to watch her children), personal ones, related to ASOUE or ATWQ or what.

He's done a few social media Q&As over the past few years, and if you look back through Weary Writer you should find them. Here are three. He also answers occasional questions on Tumblr.
