In the early books as we know them, at least... though I suspect that you are right. There would, I'm sure, be enough footage, but perhaps of fewer standout moments than there would be for Violet and Klaus. She doesn't do too badly in TRR and TMM, though.

Regarding VFD in the early books - its absence is of course something of an embarrassment, given how important it becomes later; it's very odd that it would not have more impact on what happens. And Snicket himself began to remedy this defect in TUA and the BBRE notes, both of which bring VFD-related material into the early books - Zombies in the Snow as containing a secret message, for instance, and Jacques' investigation of the Royal Gardens fire.

Depending on how important Netflix are going to make V.F.D. related subplots in the first series (we know from some of the script fragments about a mysterious scene which isn't in the books), they could make a trailer about V.F.D.
I think a trailer on Sunny would be possible but maybe one covering all three of the Baudelaires is more likely.

I'm guessing we'll get a Baudelaire centric trailer before the month is over and than a full trailer in mid to late December.
I'm hoping they start releasing some stuff for TWW soon. It's my favorite of the early books and unfortunately all we've seen is Damocles Dock and nothing else. They could at least release some cast information being that we haven't had any confirmation for Aunt Josephine. I'm really excited for Aunt Josephine's house, I'm hoping it's more like the illustrations rather than the movie, the window itself in the movie was really disappointing, but that was mostly due to the fact that it didn't match the book at all (Which is strange given that both the text and the illustrations are very clear about that particular feature). Though on the flip side I hope the destruction of her house is more like the movie and less like the book (Because it's a little dull in the book and it was awesome to see Violet invent her way out of a intense predicament like that).

I'm pretty sure Josephine is played by Alfre Woodard, who is confirmed cast but whos role has not yet been revealed. In the trailer we know Josephine is the woman yelling "Villain" and "Wretch" the voice sounds very much like Alfre. You can hear how her voice sounds when it is distressed in Luke Cage, it sounds just like her.

The Bernadette Peters thing is a joke, zinthaniel. One of our members on April Fool's Day said she had been cast as Josephine, and then imdb , not realizing it was tongue in cheek, listed her.

BTW Esmé's meme is meh, and sorry to you all for going off topic, but Bernadette has been cast in the Good Wife spinoff.

PS I know 667's FB page just posted the article about Alfre Woodard, but I'm still gonna wait for official confirmation to add the info here! xoxo

Regarding Josephine's house, I'd be find with them doing something like the movie, but I also think the running with the intensity of the storm serving as an obsticle could be very dramatic if done well.

Honestly I'm really loving this right now he looks like he is straight out of the book. The disguise still look like Olaf which I'm fine with because that's how it is in the book. I always thought that Jim Carey's disguises were too good. He looks too much like a different person. From what we seen NPH still is very much Olaf in each costume. I'm loving every thing I have seen so far.
