NPH's twitter also has a new avatar, which I don't think we've mentioned before:

I think it's interesting that the Netflix interpretation of Captain Sham is quite similar to the movie's version; Helquist's interpretation of Sham was wearing a sailor suit with a tiny hat and was not entirely possible to take seriously. I'm pleased to see the return of the superfluous eyepatch to the disguise, though; it never really did much to disguise the monobrow, but it was somewhat amusing that Olaf's idea of a legitimate sailboat captain (and apparently V.F.D.'s too) was basically a pirate.

It's so odd to see an actor playing Dr. Orwell! Good odd, though.

He doesn't really look like Phil to me, but the books don't decribe anyone's looks very much, so I guess it might very well be.

Don't want to be "that guy" but the actor in the TMM pic looks a bit too creepy and Adult Swim extra-esque to be Phil

Dr. Orwell actually looks a lot like she's played by Catherine O'Hara (who played Justice Strauss in the '04 movie) in that picture...!

Orwell's office appears to have elaborate eye-motif wallpaper; I approve. Looks like the sword-cane is still in, too - and all that it entails.
As for the lumbermill worker, he sure isn't Foreman Flacutono or Charles even if he isn't Phil, so he may just be an extra - a fact arguably also indicated by Handler having not introduced the character; we already know Klaus, but Handler only mentioned Dr. Orwell otherwise being in the picture, indicating that the lumbermill worker isn't anyone important (maybe).

For I moment I was super confused because I'm 85% sure that's catherine o'hara. So I was so confused which one was justice Strauss. I'm like we are starting to get images from the show. Liking everything am seeing. I'm wondering who the man in the pic is as well. So excited looks like we will be getting fun goodies all week

www.ew.com/article/2016/11/14/series-unfortunate-events-netflix-justice-strauss-dr-orwellIf this is to be believed it is indeed O'hara. How unexpected, but then again her husband was working on this project too, so in retrospect I should have seen this coming. That man I'm guessing is Phil, he's smiling too much to be anyone else. I'm kind of amused at how Joan Cusack looks like Lucille Ball with that hair. Sham is another very direct translation from the book, so I'm quite pleased.

She looks like Lucy or Katharine Hepburn a little. Also I am in AWE that it's Catherine O'Hara but like I love it.
