Discounting weekends and assuming no breaks, that takes filming right up until the week of May 21st. That's if they stick to their 20-23 days per book schedule. Filming for Season 2 wrapped at the beginning of December, right? It airs at the end of March, so allow four months for post-production (generously ignoring that Season 3 is a book shorter), and it's not unreasonable that Season 3 could air in the final quarter of the year.

Filming for season 2 wrapped on the second day of November, but no it's not unreasonable at all to assume that post-production could very well be finished by November/December. Although I think they'll try and hold out for a release in 2019 if only because of the rarity of Netflix releasing two distinct television seasons of a big budget show in the same year. :Edit: I also think that the post-production schedule might stretch a bit anyway, considering how complicated some of the special effects sequences may get. The climax/ending of book 10, in particular, is one that I'm very interested in seeing how they pull off.

Oh my gosh. This is so surreal. Don't get me wrong, I'm as excited to see production start up on season three as much as anybody else, but the fact that soon they'll be done with at least the principal stages of production on the ENTIRE SERIES is really weird to think about. Am I right on this? Somebody back me up. I remember when we were scrambling just to get the tiniest glimpse of what ANY of this show would look like, and now we're seeing it go into production on its final season. Ugh. Y'know maybe it's just the fact that I just started my last semester of college and time in general seems like an ultra weird concept to me at the moment, but I just can't believe that after they finish filming season three we'll be in a complete ASOUE drought again once it actually releases.

I know; I'm incredibly excited but also kind of scared for it to finish, which I know is silly because season 2 hasn't even been released yet, but still ... I just don't want it to ever be over! Although, once it is, we'll always be able to watch and re-watch it, so it will never really be over, just as the books aren't really over -- they're still there to be read again and again and again.

He appears to gain height between the pictures. That wouldn't be surprising.

Can't see what's changed except for Louis used to straighten his hair?? He still does the first one was taken after make up. He's shown videos of himself getting his hair straightened for season 2.

A Snow Scout with a speaking role, likely carrying through to become a rower in TGG, seems pretty plausible as a role for a young actor in Season 3. Though the major role we need to be watching out for is Fiona, of course.

Wonder who she's playing ? My money is on one of the captured snowscouts. It's a recurring role, that sort of makes me think it's a bigger part then a nameless, random snow scout. Too, she appears to be younger than the Baudelaire children (excluding Sunny) or the Quagmire triplets, maybe even younger than Carmelita. So, she doesn't really seem to fit into that group. It makes me wonder if perhaps she's playing Beatrice (Kit's daughter). I've had a feeling for a while now that they were going to somehow work the Beatrice Letters into the show, especially since that flashback scene leaked. My theory is that season two will feature the Baudelaire parents in a side story similar to the season one Quagmire story (except this time they'll be out rightly identified as the Baudelaire parents), giving the illusion that they're alive for real this time, only for it to turn out the story we're seeing is merely a flashback to events that happened before the fire (The dead guardians being alive at that party would be what reveals when these events actually take place). And I think in season 3 we'll see young Beatrice introduced in Lemony Snicket's present timeline and then have it revealed in the final episode who she really is.

I'd forgotten about Young Beatrice, with all the focus on Season 2, but I've been hoping all along that they'd integrate her into the storyline. I could definitely support that interpretation.

I feel like I missed something. Which leaked flashback scene? What happened in it?
I do think your theory about her playing Beatrice makes a lot of sense think we are going to get a lot more flashed plot points out by the shows end
