An early charge was made against gothicarchiesfan : Dante FileneNGottlin Hermes Christmas Chief you have two days to write "I agree" or "I disagree". If any of you write "I disagree" the game immediately restarts where it left off. If after two days one of you has not written anything, the game restarts where it left off. If you all write "I agree" during the two days, the charge will be considered valid. The accused has the right to defend himself in a post. The spy has the right to reveal himself as a spy during the two days and say where he believes everyone is. As long as the accusation is not resolved by all of these voting with "I agree", or by at least one "I disagree" or by the time of two days having run out, no further charges will be allowed. if the game returns from where it left off, tricky will not be able to make any further charges in advance during this Round. (each player can only make one advance charge per round).

Something going quite wrong. gothicarchiesfan what sort of things does this establishment sell? I'm very sorry that you believe I am the spy tricky , but you're wrong. While I admit my first answer was somewhat vague, that was simply because we were still early on in the process and I didn't want to give the spy too big of a hint. Also, I was still kind of unsure of how to actually play, lol. However, my second answer actually contained a direct reference to Lemony's olfactory and physical description of the specific district as noted in the book. Something which I couldn't possibly have looked up unless I actually knew what the area that contained the location was. My third answer also specifically referenced the most notorious person associated with this location and the one most likely to invite people there. As for your question here, this establishment sells a foodstuff/former living creature, the heads of which were once the subject of a popular novelty song. A novelty song which ended up being covered by Mr Snicket's representative when he cameoed on a certain Netflix show.

I agree with the charge. By request of the game master, I have removed my reasoning (but have saved it to be potentially reposted later). Please excuse the interruption; I did not realise that reasoning (as opposed to simply responses to a defence) was forbidden in a case of an advance accusation.

Dante , like Christmas Chief , you should not argue afterthe defendant's defense. You can only agree or disagree with the charge. Please consider deleting the argument . however comments like this are welcome during the period of consideration during the final poll (if we get there).

This was an exciting Round! I would like to thank everyone for participating actively! For the first time, players used the device of making accusations in advance. There were clever defenses, an invalid charge and a valid charge. So, we have reached the end of Round 4. And I will now announce the champion or champions. The spy was correctly identified! Detective friends won this round! tricky earns two additional points for being the person who made the correct and valid advance charge. The characters were as follows: gothicarchiesfan : spy Dante : Dewey Denouement tricky : Mrs Bass Hermes : Hal Christmas Chief : Vice Principal Nero FileneNGottlin : Mr Remora The score looks like this: tricky : 4 points + 2 points (winner) + 2 points (additional points) = 8 points Dante : 2 Points (winner) gothicarchiesfan : 0 point FileneNGottlin : 0 points + 2 points (winner) = 2 Points Hermes : 2 points (winner) Christmas Chief : 2 points (winner) Marlowe : 0 points (did not participate) sevensorrows : 2 points (did not participate) Be actress Beatrice : 0 points (did not participate)

You can comment on the will of the last round. I would like to inform you that tricky offers to be a master in the next round, so that I can participate as a player. (This also makes it easier to match the score with tricky .)
I will, soon, add some clarifications about some rules that were consolidated in this round.
But to start, I wanted to ask Christmas Chief why she accused Dante, and what she planned to counter-argue.

Commiserations to gothicarchiesfan; I narrowed it down to him and baudelaiire fairly early on, but wavered. He did a good job defending himself, but he just had the wrong location in mind - I take it, gothicarchiesfan, you thought we were dealing with Café Salmonella or the Veritable French Diner? But baudelaiire's very clever final answer tipped the balance. Here was the reasoning I removed from my earlier post - I'd actually been planning on writing something similar up for a while for an identical accusation: [...] and indeed would have used the authority invested in me to make that charge myself had baudelaiire not done so. EvidenceFileneNGottlin's first answer, the very first in the thread, revealed that this was a location which employed staff. There were no previous answers from which a spy could deduce this information. FileneNGottlin is not the spy.As I, Dante, established in my defence, my answers revealed the management structure and thematic uniform of this location. This was not information deducible from the previous answers. I am not the spy.Hermes's first answer was vague, likely in view of his accommodating character, but when the game master delivered a second answer in his place, it revealed that this was a location in which people could place customisable orders. This was not information deducible from the previous answers, which the game master is also bound by in this situation. Hermes is not the spy.Christmas Chief's answer revealed that this location has foreign aspects. This was not information deducible from the previous answers. Sherry Ann is not the spy.tricky's second answer revealed that the sound of wrongness is audible in this location. This was not information deducible from the previous answers. baudelaiire is not the spy.gothicarchiesfan's answers have delivered information which is irrelevant to this location. For this reason, and by a process of elimination, gothicarchiesfan is the spy.I was quite amused when Sherry Ann accused me of being the spy; I hope my answers make more sense in the context of the role I was given. Edit: I meant to mention - I was pretty confident about Hal and Nero, too, which was another reason not to suspect them.
