I haven't played and I don't know anyone who has. I follow a Brazilian Youtuber who showed himself as the owner of this game, but he himself admitted that he never played it.
I'd like to take the time to talk a little bit about my hobby of playing boardgames. I think that's really cool. Especially modern games. I prefer games where I can interact for up to an hour with someone, but very long games are harder to play with interest. On the other hand, I played Pandemic Legacy, and the fact that it's a throwaway boardgame makes the long game fun. You know you can't make mistakes, and your decisions are final, and they will affect the next games that will end at a specific time (anywhere between 12 and 24 games depending on how good or how bad you are playing). Your characters can die, and any effort you've spent developing one of them can go to waste. It's not an RPG, but it has RPG-like elements, and I like that. Specific rules, limited imagination but still immersion, no human master, just an Artificial intelligence in the form of rules, cards, components and board. It was fun talking to Sherry Ann and Dante about this game, which by an amazing coincidence, each of us (and Antenora, but I had no contact with her) played.

I agree that monopoly is boring, I don't know sorry
I don't really know how to describe what kind of board games I like. Anything that doesn't require too much creativity I think.
We have more card games than board games, probably because they don't need that much storage space and there are more available that work with only two people.

Catan was one of the first modern boardgames I bought. (Carcassonne was my first). I really loved Catan a lot, bought extensions, and played for hours with a couple of friends (real friends Isadora Is a Door!!!). I developed a technique that consisted of "when you are losing use threats and illegal coalitions to try to win" which sometimes worked or not and left the game much more tense than the developers expected, I'm sure. We developed the ability to predict the future from early choices, as well as guess when the 7 will appear on the dice (this is always when you risk losing half your cards). A very fun game, which reflects well the injustices of life but is fast enough for it to be fun and not an eternal suffering like in Monopoly. Unfortunately I had to stop playing due to family problems (threatening loved ones doesn't always make for good relationships). In addition, my group of friends also experienced family problems (not related to the game, quite the contrary. The game even helped them a lot.) Finally, a great game to start modern boadgmaes, you need to get tips from someone experienced to do it good choices early in the game.

I played the Carcasonne game a handful of times in primary school and I liked it, but one round took a dang long time. Same with Monopoly.
Generally I was never big on board games, but I used to occasionally play chess with my dad.

Yes, talking about chess, I also really like it. My dad taught me when I was a kid, and I'm not a great chess player but I play fairly well, I guess. My mom taught me to play checkers too when I was a kid. In Brazil, a very popular board game is dominoes. In the region where I was raised, there are special rules involving counting victory points, which makes the game even more popular and fun, especially when playing in 2v2 partnerships. There are well-organized domino tournaments where I grew up, and my grandfather was a domino champion.

when i was a kid i thought i was hot salsa because i always defeated my mother at chess. but then i joined a middle school chess tournament and lost every round -- except for the last one, where i was paired with another dork who had lost every round, and we ended with just our kings left, which i believe is technically called a "failmate."
