those are quite pleasant. they remind me slightly of edward gorey. funny that she still found a way to incorporate her signature cute animals (though the leeches are impressively frightening).

i'm not overjoyed by the inclusion of the netflix VFD insignia but other than that these are perfect. love love loveee the ones for TMM and TEE and i can't wait to get a look at the interior illustrations too (there are interior illustrations, right?)

TMM is a work of genius. TEE looks too much like the Netflix iteration. I don't mind Netflix VFDs because they look more like actual eyes than OG VFDs.

These almost look like foreign copies of the books, specifically the Chinese copies. This isn't an insult, just an observation. One thing I like is that they kind of look like they are from 20+ years ago. I wish the characters looked less like Mr. Helquist's designs, but I'm not surprised.

the linework style kind of reminds me of the 2004 credits (esp TBB with the black background).
