Cannot wait to see the interior illustrations! At the moment, it seems unlikely that there is a difference from the originals.

This new article continues to suggest that it is indeed only new covers for the anniversary editions.

I enjoy the 25th anniversary cover for The Miserable Mill.
Very xylophone. Very in.

Highlights of Oxford event:
DH told an anecdote I had never heard before, but now I’ve forgotten what it was.
DH pronounced “bombinating” wrong.
DH made a holocaust joke.
DH says the book he’s been planning was inspired by a visit to a private sculpture garden in the home of a rich old textile(?) manufacturer, whom he never saw, but he was told that he was “within earshot.”
Also, american kids be like: “suzzuvvuffuchunutuvints”
while british kids be like: “eɪ ˈsɪəriːz ɒv ʌnˈfɔːtjʊnət ɪˈvɛnts”

Has anybody across the pond gotten their hands on these yet? Curious about the interior.

Thank you! Does the ex libris/title page differ at all from book to book?

The rest of them came out over the summer, and the covers are great. Shame we didn't get more inside illustrations, but if the cover page is any clue, I actually probably wouldn't dig that style for the whole series. A little too goofy-Roald-Dahl-book for me. But I do like the covers. www.harperreach.com/products/?_product_search=snicket&_paged=2
