You know, when my students won that Count Olaf contest last fall, and the Promotions lady told me that it would be posted on such and such a day, it actually took several days longer than she told me. I even called her and she said something like "I've got to get after those Web people." But if they post online "July 12", it darn well better happen some time today!!!
(I'm taking a break. I'll be back later.)

i think by suspending the update of this site they are raising our expectations, making us more and more answer-hungry with each second....

everyone just take a chill pill. things almost never happen the way people say or you think they will and everyone sitting her whining doesn't help so maybe you should try leaving your computers for a while and getting a snack then come back in about a half-hour and check to see if it's updated yet, if not do somthing else for about a half-hour don't sit here and brood about it!

If by "raising our expectations" you mean "trying our patience" then yes, they are raising our expectations.
Edit: ND, we like aSoUE a lot. Another thing we like is prompt updates. So when we don't get those things, when they were promised to us, I think you'll find that disappointment, followed by anger, is the natural response. As for brooding - well, we have nothing else to do, firstly, and secondly, the moment any of us leaves and stops looking, the site will be updated and we'll miss out. We can't leave.

I don't think you understand that I've been doing that for over 15 hours. How many more snacks can I have?
