I really don't think any of them will die. In one of the books, I think it says that even Lemony does not know if the Baudelaires are still alive.

I think someone dies in book the 13th, but I don't think it's a baudelaire because Lemony says that Violet and Klaus look back on the events around that time, Sunny couldn't do that because she's too young to remember what happened. Although someone on another site pointed out that "pietrisycamollaviadelrechiotemexity' anagrams to Violet dies I cry, help me, I may lie, car, tot, ax I don't think Violet dies. The death in book the 13th might be a quagmire or 2 or all 3, the surviving parent, although that would be awful for them to survive only to die shortly afterward, or it could be someone the Baudelaires hold dear, but since it's an unfortunate series I figure something bad has to happen during the eerie end.

Or maybe the living parent is going to be killed again... At least that's unfortunate..

I think Beatrice(Mrs. Baudelaire) and Duncan and Isadora shall meet the grim reaper in book 13.

Maybe Count Olaf gets one of the fortunes he's after as well. Wouldn't that be unfortunate?

you never know, the 13th book may as well be unfortunate to Count Olaf (I hope!) unlike the past 10 installments. It's just that we do not follow a certain law in giving theories on the books - bacuse they have no limit, which is nice :-)

Doesn't Snicket say in the books that Violet and Klaus are still alive? I don't remember exactly which, but it says something like "Many years later when Violet again visited Briny Beach..." and "Many years from now Klaus might remember reading that book..." or something like that? I don't remember any mentions like that for Sunny, though. Since the books so far have been within a period of just a few months, I don't think they will end many years from when the series started. So I always assumed that meant that the siblings somehow managed to survive. yeah...i noticed that when i first read the books...in TRR it says..."...and even now Klaus wakes up in the dead of night, and just wishes he stabbed Stefano while he had the chance..." or summut....

There's also the line in TAA that the school has been closed for years when Lemony is walking around on the grounds.

What if the peron who dies (if there is one) ius Lemony himself? That would be fairly tragic.
