None of the siblings will die. But Beatrice is the Baudlaire's mother! TEXT

Exactly. TGG may give us more hints to draw a likely-er conclusion.

Possibly, but PLEASE don't turn this into a Beatrice is baudmom thread. Don't do it, I prefer to argue about it on threads that are actually started for that purpose. THere are already two of them that I use. anyway, I don't think a baudelaire will die at the end as I have said earlier. But here's a ?. K, sis teacher @ Prufrock after bauds left, had Lemony's book listed for kids to read. That means it must have been published not too long after the events happened, if so are we reading edited versions that contain allusions to the ultimate baud fate, or was there a huge gap in publishing time between the 1st and 2nd books?

Maybe one of the characters in ASOUE has the Snicket file or the sugarbowl and everyone else is chasing after them and they all fall off a cliff or something. To explain the many yers thing, maybe they'll find a safe place for them to hide from Count Olaf for a few years and regret the capture of the Quagmires during that time.

ooh, i really like the idea of Lemony finally catching up to the Bauds. he might not be vrey helpful, but at least he'd be sypmathetic. maybe Count Olaf gets the Baud (and Quagmire?) fortune(s), which would be unfortunate. i think Lemony says at some point that the Bauds never build the dream studio/library/castle they wanted, so it could be because they lose all their money. and then, of course, Olaf would fall off a cliff.

Great, then he could sit around with the other unhelpful but sympathetic adults the Baudelaires have met: Mr. Poe, Jerome and Hector. Heck, Justice Strauss could join them for tea. ;D

Justice Strauss and Hector are not unhelpful! Justice Strauss was going to give them a comfortable, safe home and Hector was going to fly them into the sky! That's not unhelpful. I've got an idea where Olaf chases fortunes of the snowscouts so there's like a few years gap between 12th and 13th books(in their time not our time please!) and the week or so before Violet inherits the fortune is in real time with Lemony and Olaf duking it out for them or something to that effect. Lemony's got to shine soon.

Lemony will be in the books! I read once on amazon.com in a summary that it is a series in which the Baudelaires "encounter various odd people, including Snicket himself".

OMG, there's so many debates on the deaths of the orphans. I HATE THIS THEORY!! The Bauds WILL NOT die, becasuse that would actually be fortunate for them. That would be putting them out of their misery. But then again, Olaf will NOT be put to justice, because he is assumed dead, and that would be a fortunate event. Therefore, no one will win the battle in the Snicket Books!

Well it has to be a bittersweet ending, people would hate the books if the ending turned out to be all bad. Olaf will be put to justice, there's ur good part, cept maybe quags and surviving baud parent will die, there's the bad part. But Lemony might take the bauds in and that's how he gets all his data. How else could he know exactly what they said in the books?

I think that maybe the Quags will die. Because of the Isadora Duncan allusion, a dancer who died in a car accident.
