I'm going to use the thesaurusHmmm. No nine-letter H-words. Maybe the second word isn't Hotel. Especially because we already had THH. I'm leaning toward TFF or TDD. Only because if those are the titles of the last two books, then we'll have TVV, TFF, and TDD. Someone said that, and I forgot who.

the title seems to be 9 letter word (?) and Hotel because Lobby is a bit to specific. Its not Horid or Horrible we now know that at least. You posted that in the Nameless Novel thread, word for word.

The Frightful Foyer would fit, although it's a little generic.
And Lobby might not be too specific. In TGG, they only spent a couple of chapters in the grotto itself.

And the title could concern a relatively small part of the location, as happened with TWW.
How about The Flammable Foyer? The Hotel will most likely burn at some point, so the foyer would have to be combustible. Maybe it's the only part of the hotel not made of fireproof green wood. But I'm speculating pretty much at random here.

That's too long for the blank spaces we've been shown at LS.com, though.

The title has been spoiled, but anyone who posts it outside the link in my sig will get an immediate strike.

I thought that we have already been over this...Snicket would NOT put duplicate letter titles on his books

No he wouldn't, I've always stood by that no matter what.
So I'd be naturally furious if he purposely repeated a letter in 13 just to make us angry.

Incidentally, while this thread is obsolete for quite a few of us, I'm keeping it open for those people who haven't been spoiled and want to resist the temptation to continue speculating. And if you want to throw in some B13 title speculation as well, you might as well do so. If B12 doesn't reveal the title of B13, though, then there will eventually be a new thread on that, once the dust has settled from B12.

I'm suspecting that B12 won't reveal B13's title at all, because TGG didn't give us B12's. There may not even be an editor letter in B12, just the implication that one had been written and destroyed, or even that Snicket failed to write one.
Book 13's title might involved "Finale" or "Finish", but I'm not sure yet what the adjective would be.

I don't think they'll give out the title either, but they might. Either way, I think that we'd be in a much better position to speculate after we've gathered all possible information from B12.
I'm now leaning away from a "Fire" title for B13 - it seems like B12 will be the books for fires. It could still be TFF, though.
