Yes, because as ffwf often says, he has to give SOME info to us in book 12 because book 13 can't be all exposition, it just doesn't work. Book 13 can be amazingly long without giving away all the secrets, it can have a very long plot or something like that. I think it will be a lot longer because it's the final book obviously and author's tend to take awhile when wrapping up their precious series.

In Britain, the box sets do contain 4 books - although that still leaves Book the Thirteenth on its own.
Also, given the timing of the release of The Gloom Looms, the chances of Book the Thirteenth coming with it are... somewhat slim.
I'm not discounting the possibility of another add-on.
I think Book the Thirteenth will be left on its own, without a box set. Lemony would no doubt think it better that such an awful novel isn't accompanied by any other awful novels.

Maybe, book the 13th will explian everything we need to know (unlike holes, curse Louis Sachar) and it'll be as long as 3 books put together. That'd be great.

Someone already said that, and while it SHOULD be longer than the rest, I highly doubt Snicket's going to make it as long as 3 other asoue novels put together... It's either on its own or part of a boxed set with LSUA and/or LSUA-like novels.

While Book 13 will undoubtedly be longer(hopefully with a good balance of exposition/information and exciting action) I doubt it will be as long as three previous ASoUE books, which range from about 170 pages to over 300. For no particular reason, I'm going to estimate 400 pages.

I'd take out the Charlie Bone books..

In the US, I think there is 3 books to a set, but I'm not sure. 1-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12...Maybe the thirteenth book will be as long as two books, and it will be released with LSUA.

I move random books to make room for future books in a series. For instance, I've got room for hbp already but that's beside the point. Book 12 SHOULD be bigger than 11 cause Handler's got a lot to wrap up in 2 books. And he'll still probably introduce a bunch of new stuff in book 12 so... THE LONGER THEY ARE THE BETTER.

Meh, if I left spaces, it might look weird. And yes, the longer they are, the better. If there is a heaven, i'm sure there is a never ending snicket book that never looses quality. Or maybe i'd read it, then forget that it was out, then find it in a bookshop, and buy it again, and be happy all over again.

I only like really long books if they're good, and can sustain my attention throughout their length. TGG was pretty long, but didn't become slow or bogged down in expostion, and hopefully the same will be true of the final books, which will probably be even longer.

snicket books always hold my attention, I can devour them in mere hours. Then I get a bit sad because it's all done...

he could write a book sort of like the UA but he links together stuff he said throughout the series ex: the thing about Beatrice being swooped up by the eagle and the bauds mom on her hike wiht jerome

I wish he would write another book like tua, perhaps confirming/dispelling certain rumors in the process...

You've got to be KIDDING me.... No, there is DEFINITELY going to be a book the thirteenth, tua is not part of the numerical series.
