Hahaha. But why is this thread here? Given the unnecessary amount of secrecy Harper Collins and Handler are employing there's absolutely no way we'll be getting chapter one before the 18th, or at least before erroneous salespeople sell it early, so is this for when those early people come and graciously post chapter one for us? *hope*

Would they be prepared to co-operate, or would they just splash spoilers all over the board without regard to consequence? (Incidentally, anyone who gets the book early should PM me or SnicketFires before posting anything. We don't want to ruin it for anyone.) |

Can you ask your cool bookshop guy how he got chapter 1? It'd be interesting if this chapter turned out to be fake(not that I don't trust the bookshop guy, it's just that fake chapters are a possibility with all the secrecy around book 12).

Yes, BSam, I'd like to know how your cool bookshop guy got Chapter One.
And what restrictions I'd have on Chapter One would really depend on what's actually in it. It'd certainly need its own thread, as this one is really for discussion about whether we'll get it early or not. BSam, I'm PMing you. Hooky, whether or not you get it early won't matter if BSam gets it earlier.
