Let's say you know someone who works in a bookstore, and they offer to peek in the boxes and tell you the title of Book 12. Would you do it? It's a real dilemma. Sure, we all want to know the title. But now it's so close, we should be able to hold out a little longer. And once you know the title, you can't "un-know" it and you might regret knowing. What about just the letter of the words and then you can guess?
What would you do?

I'd try to hold out, especially if there were only a few days left.
However, if the bookstore person knew the title and I didn't, I'd be insanely jealous and get impatient. I'd probably ask for just the initials, if that were the case, and then I'd try to guess, and I'd probably figure it out eventually and regret that. And I'd doubt if my bookstore person had the real title, and be annoyed if they'd lied to me...basically, I'd end up annoyed no matter what happened.

Okay, you're a cheater.
As impatient and overly curious as I am, I voted that I would not find out. I think I could hold out without going insane.

Yeah, I probably could to.

I'd rather not know, really. I think it'd be neat to only find out the title when you first get your hands on the book.

With luck, I won't know what it's called until I walk into the shop on the 18th. And I hope it stays that way, too.

To make a comparison to real life, I have 3 kids, a girl and then 2 boys. With the first two, we found out the sex of the baby before she/he were born. When I was pregnant with my second son, we chose NOT to find out. It really made his birth special because it was a big surprise.
I guess what I'm saying is that the anticipation makes the experience more exciting.

I wouldn't peek. If I found out it was something incredible that we've never thought of, I'd want it even more. And if it was dissapointing I'd be annoyed and upset.
And it's only six days away. I can wait.

I would wait...u probably think im crazy but i would wait because i think its fun to either find out on TNN and raise suspence or go to barnes & noble and buy the book and find out the title then.

It would definitely be in my best interests to wait, but I'm not sure if I'd have the self-control. I'm not very patient with these types of things.

Are you saying this happened to you?
