Well purhaps fernald and fiona have a long lost sibling...I mean, to fit in with the three sibling pattern.... Yes, but they aren't the same age, so they can't be triplets... unless there are two more Fionas and two more Fernalds around...

No I don't think they are triplets I think they have another sibling that's all

The Bauds are a group of three and they are not triplets. So it does not have to be that they are triplets.

Hmm... that would be interesting, but wouldn't either of them had mentioned if they had another sibling in TGG?

Unless they though he/she was dead. Just like when the Quagmires though Quigley was dead.

but the Quagmires were quick to mention that they had had another sibling. Wouldn't Fiona have at least mentioned something while they were on the sub?

Not if her parents keep it away from her. They might be ashamed that they lost a son or daughter and don't want her to know.

Yes I can imagine that happening...anywhos...I just want to confirm something... On pg 223 TPP "If I hadn't been on the roof,"Esme retorted, "the sugar bowl would have been delivered to V.F.D.! Besides, I was guarding---" It never actually tells us what she was guarding...but we all assumed the medusoid mycelium, right?

We assume that, yes, because there wasn't anything else on the roof, really, for her to be guarding.

..... or was there? It IS possible that she was guarding a kidnap victim to make sure that either 1, the victim didn't escape, or 2, no one found out about the prisoner.

Fiona/fernald sibling? No. There's that picture and about them being ashamed to tell them about losing a sibling: Fernald? They'd lost him and they told the Baudelaires who were pretty close to complete strangers, so I don't think they would've hidden the fact of a lost sibling from their own children/stepchildren.

If they thought their third sibling was dead they would definitely discuss it, right? You can't "forget" or act like you forget something like that.

Maybe Widdershins had to kill their sibling? :/

But if he did, and considering Fiona's loyalty to Fernald, wouldn't she be angry at Widdershins? She seems as loyal/close to Widdy as she is to Fernald.

Yes, but she doesn't know Widdershins (supposedly) killed the sibling does she EDIT: actually tat wouldn't make sense because if Widdershins were their stepfather he would have to had killed the other sibling when fiona and fernald were alive....maybe their mother or their real father had to kill the other sibling
