I'd also give it a 10, although I'm not entirely sure of that. At first, I thought it wasn't quite as good as a few of the earlier books, but when I finished it I really liked it.

Overall, I rate the book a good '9'. Whilst it wasn't my favourite of the books so far, it still was very good and I enjoyed mainly the first few chapters. Maybe it was me but I found the middle-endish parts rather rushed in sections and yet slow in others.

I rate it a 9 - just to leave some room for further perfection in Book the Thirteenth.

I'd give it a nine. I thought it was excellent, but it didn't quite turn out the way I'd hoped. *shrug*

10. It was the best, so far.
Spoilers:
Scenes such as the Dewey-Death scene, the Court-Scene and the Final Burning Down scene where absolutely brilliant. AND, for the first time in the history of asoue, it had a Sebald Code (not including UA).

I agree with you on all of those spoilers. But where was the Sebald Code at, i must have missed something.

It was an excellent! book but I can't give it a ten, simply because I can't make it seem perfect in my eyes. There were parts that I just didn't like and I wanted some stuff that wasn't there. *shrug* So I must give it a 9. I wish I could explain further but this is a nonspoiler thread I think...

I didn't like it that much. Only a few of my questions were answered, and I find it difficult to believe our laughing God can wrap everything up in one more book.
However, I did like the part where-Well. I don't want to spoil anything.

I rate Book 12 a '9'. It wasn't my favourite of the series (well, so far...still Book 13 to go) but it had a great few scenes that make it stand out from the rest.

10. It's my favourite book so far, and while I didn't like it initially, I've gone over it again and now I love it.
I guess you're fine to post spoilers in this thread, as it really requires that you've finished B12 to post here. However, you should probably try to hide them with colour, like PJ did.

I gave it a 7....It was informative, one of the more funnier books of the series but not tragic enough to make me cry Spoliers Hehe I loved Emse's outfit this time, however I was disappointed how so many good characters won't be around for the 13th book. The sebold was cool too, I only counted one however, was there anymore???

I thought it was very good; I just think that the three chapters following, ‘not a chapter’ were—odd. Like, it was important, but should not have been three chapters.

I give it a nine. It was unarguably brilliance, an astonishing book, but I just didn't like it as much as some others. I think it might have been the best written and most important book in the series, but it wasn't my favorite. If I read it again my shock might lessen and it could end up being my favorite book.

10. It's my new favorite.
Best parts: *spoilers* The Baudelaires killing someone, the Baudelaire parents probably killing Olaf's parents, the return of a lot of old characters, the pond containing the secrets, Olaf losing most of his laugh from TGG, the person who kept mentioning their mother, the Baudelaires helping Olaf, and burning down the hotel.
Worst parts: *spoilers* No mentions of Beatrice, the triptych being of little importance, Justice Strauss, Hal, and Jerome Squalor becoming volunteers, so many characters dying.
