Well I suppose you can't break with tradition but the last boxed set obviously isn't going to be the same(if indeed yet another one comes to exist) They're SUPPOSED TO make more explanationish books like LSUA....

I've heard some vague rumors about the publishment of a book written by Olaf, which will tie up a lot of loose ends. Then there's the completely unsubstantiated rumors about a "VFD Management Structure Leaflet". As wonderful as these alleged books sound, I pretty much doubt that they'll exist.

I think you've kind of answered your own question. The first item indeed appears to be a biography of Daniel Handler. Interesting that it's an e-book.
The second item is most likely a study guide aimed at teachers or reading group leaders. It probably has discussion questions, chapter outlines, character studies, etc.

Maybe it has study questions and vocabulary...
I dunno, if you wanna know if they're interesting, YOU buy them random passer-by.

Maybe it's expensive because its big! That would be great...because I'm not sure that the 12th ASOUE book will hold me over until the fourth HP movie..

Maybe it has study questions and vocabulary... *laughs* That would be excellent. That would be one of the best allusions ever.

According to Amazon.co.uk (not the most reliable of sources, but there are no others as of current), Britain gets the Bad Beginning Private on September 1st, as in America, and the Loathsome Library Vol. 1 in September.

I'll be needing a close bookstore watch in september then. Even though I'm only really interested in the 3rd bb and book 12.

Loathsome Library sounds cool. I want to get both 12th book and that. The HP-HBP will keep me company. Hopefully 800 pages this time

Go to the Horrible Harry Potter if that's what you're going to talk about. Here, we are discussing the upcoming Lemony Snicket books.
