I have a feeling it's Klaus. I don't know why.

I think more people would have remembered it if something that important was stated.

I agree with chexfan2000... I was going to find the quotes and post the same thing. It mentions that both Klaus and Violet looking back years later... but that's a book that those little details might not seem to fit the story like some things in TBB (for example, in later books the "eye" is the VFD insignia; in TBB Olaf seems to have an obsession with different eye shaped paintings, things, etc) So that might comment may or may not relate... I guess we'll have to wait for the rest of the series to come out

I think that in the 13th book they are going to find there mom, we'll find out that it's Beatrice, and then she'll die while Lemony tries to save her - perhaps with the help of the Bauds. That is my theory. ;D

I believe it is in TRR, when the taxi with Stephano arrives. It says that Klaus would, years later, remember and wish he had called back that taxi driver. So Klaus, at least, doesn't die.

I doubt that any of the Baudelaires will die, after all the series is based and revolves around them. Two siblings are nothing without the third after all, and if Daniel Handler decides to "knock one of them off", it would be simply devastating. As I said earlier, they're a team, and a team can't necessarily part because if they do the team will not be as strong, nor cooperative. That's just my opinion. I think that if Handler seperates the siblings on a strike of death, the stories will be monotonous. Sure there are a great deal of other great characters, but no one can compare to the Baudelaires. Also, I think Violet would be the last one to go, seeing Count Olaf needs her for the inheritance when Violet comes of age. Unless, Count Olaf plans on inheriting the fortune and then killing Violet. But if any one goes I sadly think it will be Sunny, seeing she's the youngest and Olaf doesn't have much use for her.

Personally, the only two characters that have actually died (in my opinion) are Madam Lulu and Jaques (spelling
That includes the parents and guardians btw...

I dont think any of the baudelaires would die, the books wouldnt be the same. I know its a series of unfortunate events but they wont be that unfortunate. If it had to be one of the baudelaires I think it would be Klaus because he is the middle baudelaire and Violet wouldnt be the one who dies, she's been the one who got the baudelaires out of so many tough spots. Personally I think it would be duncan or Isadora.

Out of Pietrisycamollaviadelrechiotemexity, I found "Violet dies, I cry help me, I may lie, car, tot, ax". One can construct a tenuous storyline out of these words, involving Violet being killed by a car and/or an ax, and Sunny, a "tot" crying for help. The one who may be lying is the narrator, Snicket/Handler.

They will all live. I doubt any are going to die. I have 100% faith in SNicket/handler not to kill an characters off.

I once re-arranged it slightly to fit the plot of TGG ("I may die, Violet lies" or something to that effect) but I still got nothing out of "car tot ax." Unless... Hmm. Poe's car, the taxi... It could work. But I'm not going to try and work it out now.

What can you find besides "Carmelita dies"?
You can also find "taxi", but I'm not sure if you can get both "Carmelita dies" and "taxi". I need to go dig out my letter magnets when I get home, and spend some time on this.
