I do not like the idea of any of the Baudelaire orphans dying, and the evidence given so far still seems shaky, so I am refering to this rumor, as of now, as nothing but a rumor.
[edit] If anyone truely is to die, it shouldn't be a Baudelaire. If anyone, it should be quigley -twitch twitch-

For information on Karma, go here: asoue.proboards11.com/index.cgi?board=fee&action=display&thread=1136396454Lemony never clearly states that Violet will die, but in TRR he mentions Klaus lying awake "years later", and makes various statements about Sunny surviving "this particular episode". So the implication is that if one of the Baudelaires will die, it's most likely Violet. There's also the thing I mentioned before, how she feels she must protect her siblings, and might even risk her life to do so.

It's implied Violet will survive as well. TRR page 121 "I cannot say that Violet, years later, slept easily when she looked back on her life--there were too many miserable times for any of the Baudelaires to be peacful sleepers"

As mentioned before, I believe, it never states that she lives. If she were dead, she couldn't very well sleep easily.

Well it never says that she dies either. Therefore we can not assume anything.

It says she looks back on her life so that's good enough evidence for me.

In TAA on page 86 the Baudelaires are talking about Rutabaga River and it says:
"Maybe we can go back there" Violet said. "Maybe we can" Klause said, but the Baudelaires all knew that even if someday they went back to Rutabaga River - which they never did by the way, that it would not be the same. This may mean nothing. They may have not of gone back to Rutabaga River for the rest of their long lives. Or maybe this means that they died young and never went back there.
Also... The Baudelaires were living in the same time period as Lemony Snicket, ( we know this because we saw him in a picture with the Baudelaire parents in THH) how would he know what they have and havnt done through out their entire lives if they were still alive?

There is the whole anagram of pietrisycamollaviadelrechiotemexity which contains in it "Violet dies, I cry, car tot axe" but no I don't think any of the Baudelaires will die. If any of them I think it'll be Sunny since there was no "years later" quote for her in trr. If he goes against that and kills off Klaus or Violet I'll be quite irate.

In TRR Handler had only planned on writing 4 books. So how could he have known what was going to happen? Maybe he changed his plans for the Baudelaires future.
