I also believe Snape is a vampire. I believe Lupin was trying to get revenge on Severus when he assigned a Vampire essay right after Snape assigned a werewolf essay. Quirrell was trying to stop Snape from being around him to ask him if he'd found out what he needed to know. remember, Quirell saying that Snape was swooping around like an "overgrown bat" ? Also, in Book 4 Ron asks, "Is there anyway Snape could have gotten to the grounds faster than you and dumbledore?" Harry replies, "Not unless he can turn into a bat or something." Ron then jokes, "Wouldn't put it past him." CONSTANT VIGILANCE! When Ron jokes he's usually right! He's joked about someting that has come true in almost every book.

Also note that Harry and He-who-must-not-be-named now share a common blood protection. If Snape sucked Harry's blood (no, Harry wouldn't become a vampire, contrary to popular belief) than Snape, Harry, and Voldie would share it. That might result in some interesting plot lines.

Hagrid and Madame Maxime were sent as envoys to the giants who are one of the creatures/part-humans that Voldie said he would try to get on his side. Could Voldie want to aim for the vampires as well. Was Snape, not sent as a spy, but as an envoy to other vampires? It would be impossible to be a spy again because Voldie already knows that Snape is on Dumbledore's side and Voldie can "smell deceit". (much like a snake...)

I've heard this theory before and Im still not sure what I believe quite yet. But I think it would be awsome if it turns out that he is a vampire. That would just be the coolest twist!!So Im actually kinda hoping its true. It wouldnt suprise me if JKR did something like that.

Yes, after carfully reading the book 35 times each I've figured out quite afew things that are possible in the series. (That's all I think about, honestly) ;D I had some help from Guide Books, but they had some fatal (well) errors in them that made me furious.

(edit: I ended my sentence with a preposition, and I had to change it)

If you've ever read Cirque du Freak, it says the half vampires can go out in the sun. And even full vampires can go out for a while, just as long as there are heavily dresses and all. And JKR has a comment on the book. You know when they put other authors or magazines comments on the cover?Well she talks about how great the book is and so maybe she has the same idea about vampires as the Author of Cirque du Freak does. Hope this makes sense to you all.

Also in Cirque Du Freak, it says that vampires can be seen in mirrors and that crosses and holy water dont do anything to them. But they cant have pictures taken of them because their atoms are wll wacked out and their figure would just come out blury in the picture.Hope that helps answer some questions
