thats kinda creepy. the ministry killing people. whoops. i spelled sirius wrong up there. i would think the minestry would have a better way of killing people then just pushing them behind a veil.

I think the veil might be a halflink the ministry managed to forge between the real world and the world of the dead. The only problem is that once you enter the dead world, you don't come back... So no every book doesn't have the exact same story.

The veil. Such a mystery. And what is up with the wispering?

It's just the tiniest sign of a link they made between the world of the dead. You can almost hear them, but it's a bad link, incomplete. That's what I think at least. I wish somehow Sirius could come back fromit, I mean he got pushed behind and he's dead? Not really making sense...

I don't think so. Authors rarely do things in such a simple way. I think it's going to be investigated and possibly used in the last two books.

Yah, someone else will probably die that way, someone evil. every villain is lemons.

That would make sense, since wasn't there bleachers or something around it? But...
This makes more sense to me. Explains the whispering. The dead people who went in there to test it are trying to communicate what they've learned.
When I first heard about it, I immeadiatly thought of a Lethifold. It *kinda* works in the same way.
