I'm afraid I don't know what u mean. U r talking to a kid who dreams of the harry potter series ending with a geanie coming out of a magic lamp and bringing back all the victims of voldemort and his death eaters to life. Sorry, it's just what I'm like, all damage repaired, I love happy endings.

Jacques, they could have switched their bodies back after the danger was over with Voldemort. So it isn't that big emotionally. Or do you mean that it was too big physically? And I don't think that they had to have a godmother. Usually, the godmother and godfather are married, but since Sirius wasn't married, maybe they only did the godfather thing. *shrug* Or maybe they had a godmother, I dunno.

that's not always true. Both my siblings have godparents close to the family but the sets of godparents aren't married(mine are though) I meant it being big emotionally and no they couldn't have switched back, the danger with Voldemort might never have been over!

My godmother is my cousin Monica and my god father is my Uncle Randy, and they're both from diffrent sides of the family. If you pick a godfather then there's msot likley going to be a godmother too. Sirius was the obvious godfather choice but they might not have had enough time to come up with a sutiable godmother before they died.
I know that bringing Sirius back seems tacky but so was his death. JK has written some good stuff before and I don't buy her explanation of it was just life, theres something behind his death and I'm putting my faith in her to make up a beleiveable well written storyline to bring my Sirius back. And if not I'm living in denial for the rest of my life with my Sirius as my imaginary companion.

hmmmmm. yes we all know(or should know) how much pandora likes sirius, and I too think he should come back. He didn't die! He just fell through this, erm, experimental veil and poof he's gone? I didn't buy that! He's gotta be able to come back somehow. He's not dead!

My friend Kate says when Lupin is talking to Harry after Sirius dies, he never actually says Sirius is dead.. I don't know if thats true or not though. I'm not sure where my book is so I can't check.

Lupin says Sirius is "gone," not "dead," so maybe he isn't dead. But doesn't Lupin say, "He's not coming back," also?
Yeah, I think he does say that. But perhaps he is wrong? *praypray*
Never take a characters word for it! Rule #3, I believe, Jacques?

No hermione, that's rule #4. 1) If she reinforces it she means it(and wants us to remember it. corollarya) Jux-ta-position matters 2) If she interrupts something she's hiding a key clue! 3) There is no such thing as a coincidence. 4) Never take a character's word for anything a) Hermione is usually right(except when she gets emotional) b) Ron is usually wrong(except when he makes a joke about it) I still think Sirius will come back somehow. Now that I think of it, I think Harry's parents will come back somehow...

Did you just remember that? Or look it up? Because I have blue fish disease, and I couldn't remember that for the life of me, obviously. I sort of realized it wasn't rule #3, after I posted but I didn't know which one it really was so I didn't modify it.

And if not I'm living in denial for the rest of my life with my Sirius as my imaginary companion. WELL, CALL ME CRAZY, BUT WHEN SOMEBODY IS BEING CHASED BY A MAN WHO WILL MURDER THEM, MY FIRST PRIORITY WOULDN'T BE TO GIVE HARRY A GODMOTHER. And to whomever that said Sirius coming back would be too fairy tale-ish, call me crazy once again, but i think people who play a sport on broomsticks and who have magic wands is a tad fairy tale-ish as well, so is a veil that kills someone who is alive when they pass through it. BTW, before we get into a discussion about Harry talking to sirius through the mirror (i've heard it mentioned before) the mirror is broken and sirius didn't even bring his with him. True it probably will have future use later on.

Yeah, Harry threw the mirror against the wall and broke it because he was angry. Which was a pretty stupid thing to do, considering he might be able to use it later somehow... *sigh* Harry never thinks out things too well before he does them, I don't think...

Well couldn't he just use a repairing spell, or is it too damaged? And no, Harry doesn't think about things. I mean, he could've sucked up to Umbridge and begged her to believe him, but no he shouted furiously at her and got like 20 detentions

I know! He can't control his emotions whatsoever! I am not sure if a repairing spell would work...I have noticed that sometimes when things are broken, people don't even try to use the spell...*struggles to remember an example*
