NMow i don't want to hear something like "harry grows a tail and whips Voldemort to death" because that's my theory and its the best one i've got, dangit! Just kidding (or maybe I'm not) i want reasonable theories that could be seen happening in the 6th or 7th book. And don't tell me that Harry will be 16, because i don't believe you(haha).
To sum it up, decent rumours and facts you've heard or made up go here.
One i've got is that the title will be called 'the green Flame torch' as all of you know and also that the glory hand might be important. Now i know it sounds dumb but on an interview for JK Rowling she said that the editors wanted to cut out some scenes but she said they were important. They cut out the scene when Harry sees the Malfoys, but they keep the glory hand. Abuh?(abuh means wha? in Kevin's book of stuff).

In an interview, JKR confirmed that the title, "Harry Potter and the Green Flame Torch" Was just a title made up by fans. So that isn't right.
What about the James is still alive in Remus's body. Anybody believe that one?

I'm glad that's not the real name, Green flame torch sounds so...stupid.
I've heard that rumor, but I don't entirely understand it, so I don't know if I believe it or not. I mean, if he were alive in anyones body wouldn't it be Sirius's? They seemed closer. I dunno, you'll have to fill me in on the details.

The theory of the Remus=James thing is this: Remus and James didn't know if they trusted Black as secret keeper or not, so they took an extra precaution and used a Switching Spell (notice that although they mention these spells many times in the books, they never define them)to switch bodies at the last minute. Maybe it was Lily's work, as her wand is "good for charm work." And then Remus got killed in James's body, so now James is stuck in the body of one of his best friends in the world. But I am not suggesting that James was switching bodies as an act of cowardice, like he was scared of dying or anything! Part of the theory is that there is something special about keeping the last Potters alive. There are a few hints about that in the books, too. Yeah, well anyway, that is basically the theory of it. I'm sure its on Mugglenet, if you want a more thourough explanation. Because I probably didn't enlighten you much. LoL.

I almost beleive that theory. It does seem far-fetched, but the theory is well thought-out. And we must keep the Potters alive! Does anyone have any ideas why?

But there's something fishy about it. Like the anamagus thing, like, wouldn't Sirius (if he was switched into James) mightn't he still transform into a dog? Or the prison thing. That means James has spent 13 or whatever years in Azkaban for trying to kill Peter. But it might explain the laughing, in another sense.

Oh and Sirius isn't dead, in a sense. I mean, doesn't anybody think that the veil is a gay thing to put in the book for no reason.

yeah that veil thing is weird, but i read on another site today (i think it was the Dark Mark) that Sirius does come back, so i guess that veil must have something to do with it.

I actually believe that theory. It's a little over the top, but plausible. It would be cool if it happend.

I think that the veil is the link between our world, and the underworld or the world of the dead, which is why it's in the Department of Mysteries. The people are studying how to get in there and back out alive again. Someone on here had a similar theory.

I read that theory from Galadriel Waters and I don't believe it at all. I do believe her theory, however, that Harry is one of the last descendants of Godric Gryffindor through his father's side. The switching bodies doesn't make sense, because when he saw James' spirit in book 4, wouldn't it have looked like Lupin's if it was really his spirit? And speaking of a Harry parental figure who is his godmother? Petunia?(I hope not)

doubt they gave him one. You bring up a good point with the whole James switch thing, but no my head is going to explode. Stand back.

Jacques, those things that you called "spirits", JKR called "shadows." Maybe "shadows" appear as the body that the dead person last resided in, or something. Dumbldedore did word his explanation of the shadows rather strangely, also. He said, " some form of your parents must have appeared." Some form? Maybe the bodily form?

I do not believe that James and Remus could have(or would have) switched their very bodies, do u know how huge that is? Giving up ur self basically transferring urself, no that doesn't work. And why wouldn't they give him a godmother? There are 2 godparents, not one.

I don't knnow about the James/Remus theory. I think about it. If Sirius shows up and he came back or something, I would be so mad. I mean, I love Sirius and all, but him coming back is too Fairy-tale-ish.Know what I mean.
