I have a good example, Harry's nimbus. But I'm sure the mirror's gotta be used for something. It would be so cool if I had one of those! Or a palantir! I'd love that. Talk to my friends and family face to face, even though I'd be far away from them.

Um, whats a palantir? *feels stupid*

palantir is a seeing stone from lotr(ur name is hermione, I shouldn't have mentioned it someone who wouldn't know lotr) anyway, u look into it, and the person who has the other one sees ur face and u don't even have to talk, u look at the other person's face and they understand what ur trying to say...

Oh, that would be cool, then...I would like to have one of those and have my friend have the other one. I should really read LOTR...I shall get to it someday.

U would just have to see the movies to find out about the palantiri, but it goes more in depth in the books. They are pretty much like the mirror Harry had, only they're heavy beatiful stones which only the powerful can use, and there's no need to talk into them.

Yeah, I have heard the movies were good, but I always read the book before I see a movie of it. Because...I don't know I just do. But maybe I will read them...

Oh, God! If Sirius comes back from the dead, that would be so CHEESY! If she just made him where he could speak to Harry at certain times, then okay. But, if he come back.......

I don't buy him being dead. Dude, HE FELL THROUGH A CURTAIN. And he's dead? That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard, there must be some way for someone living to get out of the dead world behind the veil.

I was just thinking, did Ron/Hermione see Sirius fall through the veil? Or anybody else that Harry goes to school with? Because if they did we will know whether or not Sirius is technically "dead." How? Because whoever saw him will/will not be able to see the thestrals next year. That is, if somebody saw him fall through...do I remember that nobody saw that? Or was that just the prophecy falling that I am remembering nobody saw? *goes to check*

Sadly hermione no one else would have seen it. Harry and Neville were the only kids in the room remeber? The others were all in the brain room.
