He may have... Was he in the order before? Moody could have not talked about him when he showed Harry the old picture. When would Lupin have seen death though?

Here's another decent rumor/fact by GW:
Lupin could possibly be cured of werewolfness by the "immensely complex homorphus charm" Lockhart described. Too bad Lockhart wiped the memory of possibly the only person who could actually do it....But memory charms can be broken, just wish there were less painful methods...

No, your right, its probably not about his parents. Maybe he overheard something he wasn't supposed to, and they brain-erased him just to ensure he didn't remember it when he got older. Meh. That could explain why he's so bad at magic and forgets alot. Remember the mirrir of erised? Well, ron looked in and saw him with the quiditch cup, as head boy and his brothers admiring him. That's half come true hasn't it? He did win the quiditch cup and his brothers did admire him for that, and he's prefect, so maybe harry's will come true too. I doubt his parents will come alive again, but maybe he'll see them again anyway. Maybe he'll die. I reckon that his desires have changed though, he proberly wants to see his family AND sirius now. So I think that, because voldemort's got harry's blood in him now, like a part of harry, harry'll sacrifice himself and when he dies voldie will die too. If that makes ense.  lol |

That could explain why he's so bad at magic and forgets a lot. Yeah, have you noticed that the only magic he is bad at is magic that requires a wand? And perhaps the reason he is bad at wand-magic is because he is using his father's wand, and magic never works as well using someone else's wand. Potions, the other class he is bad at, he is only bad at because Snape makes him nervous. He is good at Herbology, which is basically his only untainted opportunity to be good at something. I think next year at Hogwarts, when Neville has a new wand for him, he will be a very good wizard. He'll still have to work on his memory problem, though. |

But Ron switched wands for 3rd year and he wasn't that much better at it(he was better because the old one, charlie's, was broken) so I still don't know.. I hope neville gets better though. He did get better in harry's da lessons once the death eaters got loose.
