That would be cruel, all his father's best friends dying off one by one.... I think Remus will die in book 7, not book 6.

God, I hope so, or my "Remus Lupin Is My Literary Boyfriend" T-shirt will only be used once (in public). I mean, I want him to die, but he should SUFFER first. Give him a year or two to wallow in angst, and then kill him so he can be with Sirius in The Great Beyond. Also, two of my favourite characters, with the exception of "other" are winning! Whee.

Yes, Grawp dying would be nice. Wasn't there going to be some war between like Voldemort and his allies ( dementors, trolls, giants, etc.) against wizards and stuff? Do ou think that someone might die because of that?

Grawp might be able to summon some giants to turn against voldemort and die in a sort of rebellion.

Oh yeah, he could die like a hero or something. Maybe he'll accidentally kill Hagrid in the process.

Now wouldn't that suck. Hagrid would probably lead the giant army as he'd be the most intelligent probably. He'd probably lead a small rebellion of giants against Golgomath.

The evil gurg(lead giant) who killed Karkus(the more kindly former gurg) He also talked peacefully with mcnair then after that ordered Hagrid and maxime attacked. So Grawp and Hagrid my try to overthrow him(I'd LAUGH if Hagrid became the new gurg)

I think Voldemort will die in the 7th book, and death eaters will die in both books.

I quote: "Neither can live, while the other survives......." -anonomous Maybe a few death eaters will die in the next two books. Voldemort will probably still be alive by the end of the 6th book, otherwise there won't be much to talk about in the 7th. I agree that he will most likely die in the 7th book, so that there can be a happy ending.

Harry could be a martyr and they could both kill eachother at the end... But it'd probably end up being Harry somehow living with a creative way of killing Voldemort.

I imagine Voldemort will not actually die, but he will be trapped in some way that is worse than death, as Dumbledore suggested at the end of the last book. A time-looping accident with a time-turner would be one way... fearful things happen to wizards who meddle with Time.

A time-looping accident with a time-turner would be one way... fearful things happen to wizards who meddle with Time. Nearly-Headless Nick's speech at the end of OotP suggested something disturbing to me. He said that he became a ghost because he was afraid of death... And so is Voldemort. If Voldemort died, would he not simply become a ghost? Powerless, true, but still existing, and able to continue inciting hatred and plaguing his enemies. As a ghost, he might even be more powerful - which is why your trapping-theory seems likely to me.
