I collect quarters. My oldest is a 1965. I own three of them. My grandpa collects them too. His oldest is a 1921 American one or a 1885 Canadian one. Post what you collect.

We don't have them in Britain. I collect loose change, though, but only in the sense that I store them in a separate place to the rest of my money. (Although I can never bear to part with any shiney ones. As a result, I'm running out of loose change I can spend...)

I collect state quarters (U.S.A.). I also collect stamps, but stamp-collectingi isn't a great interest... I started it when I was younger and never got into it.

I collect state quarters and wheat pennies. I read somewhere that 5 wheat pennies from 1940 (or '45) to 1960 can be worth $50.

I collect small, shiny things. And rocks. And forein coins. And clear marbles. And anything that else catches my eye.
Mostly the shiny things though...

I enjoy collecting foreign coins, although I have no organized system...they are all in a box somewhere. I also collect the state quarters...that is, if I happen to find one, I'll stick it in my pocket and it'll eventually get to the map sort of thing I have to store them. I like coins, some of them are really cool-looking. However, it's kind of gross how many people have touched them..I mean think about it, over the years, a coin must have traveled through the hands of hundreds of people...and who knows where those hands have been? Also, some of the really old ones are covered in some strange unknown sticky substance, which is never particularly pleasant.

I have an old 50 cent piece, it's round and it has a high silver content. It's really old. I use to collect stamps but that didn't last very long, I also use to collect Beanie Kids teddies, these days I don't devote much time to collecting anything.
