*is kind of upset* Okay, because it's for the best, and because it probably is the best, I vote for "darkavenorum."

I like "Darkavenorum." It already is something Sunny might say, but just in case, you could send it in as "Dark avenue forum."
EDIT: If we win, that is.....

... the only reason I'm hesitant about that is because it sounds like something that's been in the series already I quite agree. That's why I suggested mutilating it a bit more, i.e., changing the spelling or something, so that people dont read it and automatically go, "Oh, Dark Avenue! That was in...book six. So...what does this have to do with that place?" It might confuse readers. But whatever. I like it better than the other choices for previously stated reasons.

It's hard to decide. They are all clever. But, I bet Daniel Handler may be able to think of something MORE clever. If we win, I think we should just ask him to refer to our forum in Sunny's utterance. But I will be happy with whatever we decide.

Just because we've already been at Dark Avenue, doesn't mean Sunny couldn't still say it. I think it could easily fit into Book 13, wherever it takes place.
EDIT: Or maybe we could just shift the K and V to make it "darvakenorum" if Handler doesn't like it.
EDIT AGAIN: The auction has started! I said we would leave the poll open until Friday, but it looks like "darkavenorum" is the winner.
We're still looking for more pledges. See the contribution thread if you want to help out.
One more note, the auction conditions say that the name/word cannot be the name of a website, so anything with our URL would be out.

Unless a lot of people come through with some hefty pledges, it would seem that the auction is over for us when it's barely just begun. Bidding is currently at $3350.
(Incidentally, did you see the bidding on Stephen King? Over $12000 already. It zoomed to $7000 in the first half hour last night.)

Wow, some people are real fanatics. I predicted that we'd either win by a lot, or lose by a lot, and it looks like I'm right.

I didn't expect the Snicket auction to get so high, even after seeing a couple of others. Apparently Lemony's more popular(at least among the filthy rich or people good at collecting lots of money) than I previously suspected.
Oh well, we tried. Collecting $300 is still pretty impressive.

Yes, nobody can accuse of missing this opportunity... But $3000 (or what is it now? $3716) is beyond our capabilities.
