Yes, Gigi. We really do appreciate the work you've put into this. If you hadn't been around to organise things, we wouldn't even have been able to hope.

I add my thanks to everyone else's, Gigi. We couldn't have had any money if you hadn't done this.
Now I'm excited to see what will be the winning "utterance".

Now I'm excited to see what will be the winning "utterance". So that we can all criticise it and complain about how ours was much better.

wouldn't it be neat if the person who won shared our name "smiles and ponders the idea of another lauren winning the auction*

Gigi, can you see what the winning bidder's name is(although that isn't necessarily their real name)? (Sorry if that's a really dumb question; I have no EBay experience).
And I add my thanks. You did a good job organizing this, Gigi.

The username, in eBay, you can make private sometimes. So the username will not show. And I don't think we will find out what Sunny's utterance is until Book 13. I think the everything is private between the winner, the seller, and the eBay company. The auction isn't over yet. I've had a little experience with eBay.
Yes, thanks a lot Gigi, for helping us put this together. I don't think we really could've done it without you.

A lil' expirience? Wow, that's more than I've managed to obtain!

When I said "a little experience", I ment that I'm not a hardcore bidder/seller. I've read all the information stuff and I have bought some things.

It is considered a private aution and the user's identity is protected. So even when it ends, we will have no idea who won. Also, I didn't catch this before we started this endevor: "The following types of name are resticted- A name of a buiness, website, or other commercial entity; a name previously used in the author's work or one closely associated with the author". So that may have given us more probalems choosing a name anyway sine our choices were a name of a a website AND a name previously used, or very close to it.

Would we have counted as a commercial entity, though? We're just a fansite. If it was the official website of an ambitious soup company, then yes, I'd understand.

The high bidder is obviously a Villainous Financial Dealer who stole the fortune of three intelligent, charming, resourceful orphans with pleasant facial features so that he/she could win the auction. I suspect foul play. ;D You make me laugh, D.D.! Thanks, everyone, for your support. I wish it could have turned out differently. I hope we do find out who the winning bidder and the winning name are at some point. (We need to put a name and face on our envy.)

Yes, Gigi, thank you so much for organizing everything. You put a lot of trust into us, which is not something every memeber would do when it comes to money.
I wonder how noticable the utterance will be. Do you think we'll be able to tell what it is?

Another mystery to solve.....
If it's not announced somewhere, I hope we'll be able to deduce what it is. If not the real meaning of it (if it's mangled), at least we'll be able to tell it's something Sunny normally wouldn't say.
