Dear GOD!!! How are you? I'm fine I was writing to let you know about my wedding in four weeks time, I know you'll be there, because you're everywhere, aren't you? But I was hoping you'd be more specifically there and less everywhere else for the wedding. That way my dad, Satan, will be able to do his neferious deeds elsewhere without you knowing. Yours Truly, PJ. P.S. Sorry about that Armageddon business earlier.

You're quite important, actually, PJ, but not as important as you are in the book, where you're a major villain...

CHAPTER 1-CONCLUDED
Despite the hearty exhortations of the landlord that they should linger, J'Artagnan and her steed (still in the embarassing form of a bright orange warhorse) had had quite enough of "Ye Gruesome Greeting" Inn. Our heroine mounted and the pair set off at a gallop, keen to get out of Affairs and to the great city of Miscellaneous, ahem, Paris.
Meanwhile, the purple-doubletted fellow also left the Inn. He had business to attend to. The staggering, bibulous brawler made his way out as well, a secret smirk on his ruddy features.
J'Artagnan was brought to a stop by the sudden arrival of a splendidly gilded carriage, and a cry of "Milady! About time!" which seemed all too familiar, and Australasian. It was her purple-garbed nemesis-but he had not seen her.
The carriage door opened and two mustachioed footmen laid down a red carpet. Another blew a trumpet as a golden cat stepped haughtily down, her tail swaying extremely stylishly.
"Monsieur Jucker. What word from the Chardinal?" she enquired.
"You are to go instantly into England, and to inform him as soon as the Duke leaves London."
"And as to my, miaow, other instructions?"
"Here, in this box. Open it once you are across the Channel."
"And you return to Paris? Without chastising the insolent boy who challenged you to a duel?"
At this point J'Artagnan could contain herself no longer. She and Captiosus charged into view.
"I. Am. Female. Alright? And as to you," said she, turning to Jucker, "I presume you will not flee in front of your lady?"
"The least, miaaow, delay," Milady cried, "may ruin everything."
"Very well," said Jucker, who had half-drawn his rapier. "Begone then. I for my part will depart." And he leapt onto a nearby black horse, just as Milady sprang back into her carriage; and they tore off on their separate journeys and left J'Artagnan to wonder.

Wonderful. I liked Milady and the strange fellow in the purple doublet.
The Chardinal, by the way, says she hates it when people talk about paradoxes. You should work that in later in some way, shape or form.

I wish I could remember how the story went now.
Oh yeah - Ennui, if I ever read a chapter and find out that I was married to that cat...

Very bad business, wasn't it, Athos? Ah well...all will be revealed. You will also ignominiously fail to kill her...

Meh. At least it's the cat, and not the Chardinal.
