CHAPTER 2 CONTINUED
Another Intellecteteer strode past and caught sight of the paper J'Artagnan was proffering. He pointed at the Intellecteteer who had dropped it with a jeer.
"Hah...so for all your protestations of innocence, Antenoramis, you were plotting to kill Bush after all!"
Antenoramis, for her part, had gone very pale. "I don't know what you mean. That paper is nothing to do with me."
"I saw you drop it, madame," J'Artagnan said innocently. Antenoramis's upper lip quivered.
"You accuse me of mass-murder, girl? Dishonourable assassination? Even if, I admit, for a very good cause? I shall hold you to account for this. I shall be at the Avenue De Dantenora at two o' clock."
Antenoramis bowed and departed. "You're dead, you know," Captiosus commented.
"True," J'Artagnan replied. "But at least I will be killed by an Intellecteteer." And the pair of them, as the hour was approaching, made their way to Rue-De-Random-Factes.

Splendid! Masterfully done, my friend. Though it wasn't too bright of J'artagnan to say that the paper belonged to Antenoramis when she denied it.... Still. I liked the Avenue De Dantenora part... Please do continue.

I love it, Ennui. Paper? What paper? What procedure for the wholesale poisoning of the Republican Party? (That's my new personal text, by the way.) <3 and/or <# By the way, this is the painting that Ennui says I resemble: Hmm.

Excellent work, Ennui. I loved Antenoramis's villainous plot against the Republicans. I also like your road names.
Now, how will J'Artagnan's duel with me conclude? Or start, for that matter, but it's the conclusion which is the more pressing of the two.

If I know the start of the Musketeers as well as I do, the duel shall not take place at all....but perhaps Ennui shall change some things....

You have the right of it, PJ. But I'm taking a pause for the moment. I want to write another chapter of Noble Uniforms, and to continue my novel, which I haven't worked on for more than a month...

Splendid! And you are working on a novel? I am too, and have not written for ages. I seem to be lax for months at a a time, then suddenly, I work on it day and night for a week, then am lax again. Oh well, good luck.
