In a fight with the Chardinal's guards the account of which I had to cut. You were badly outnumbered. Oh dear. Was the scene just too tragic to write? Poor Athos/Dante... I love this story. I also hang out at Rue-de-Random-Factes.

Nicely done. I especially liked the sixsixseptille. ;D Also, is FFWF's name Dante Athos? Or Athos Dante?
And in a small, but cool second hand bookshop in Fishwyck, Canberra, I found a copy of The 3 Musketeers and I instantly bought it alongside some Dirk Gently's and a comic.

Dante d'Athos. But I'll refer to him as Athos in future...

Dante d'Athos. But I'll refer to him as Athos in future... What about Dantos? And Arranora? And Portui?

Antenoramis is happening, but the other two sound like gobbledegook if mixed...

I quite like Dantos and Portui. The former sounds like some kind of end-boss in a Zelda game. But it hardly sounds french... But it might sound sixsixseptish....

CHAPTER 2 CONTINUED
Still hot with indignation from her confrontation with Athos, J'Artagnan carried on her way. Suddenly, the dashling brilliance of the scarlets and pinks in which a giant of an Intellecteteer was dressed forced her and her mount to slow, shielding their eyes.
Disorientated, Captiosus tried to push past the finely-dressed fellow; but at that moment the wind's howl joined that of the wolf-daemon and rider and steed became entangled in the stranger's magnificent cloak. Caught underneath it, and struggling to escape, they could not help but notice that the fellow was a complete sham. The fine satins and velvets became rough cotton and leathers underneath; the glinting gold iron. In the words of Dumas, "one could comprehend the necessity of the cloak."
"Blast and bedevil you!" the Intellecteteer shouted, jerking back and hurriedly hiding his simple clothing. "Do you always forget your eyes when you run?"
"No," replied J'Artagnan, sharply. "I saw your...wardrobe...well enough."
"Monsieur...ah, Mademoiselle," the Intellecteteer answered, "you insult me grievously. Will you meet me?"
"When you haven't your cloak on, I will!"
"At one o'clock, then," the tall man growled. "At the Place du Appreciation D'Amber. You shall not prevail 'gainst the blade of Ennui de Porthos!"
And so they parted.

I think I'm beginning to see a pattern here, but - I don't know - I can't quite seem to put my finger on it...
So, is Ambui the new and stylish 667 ship, then? I see that you're drawing as much attention to it as possible.

Why not? But I've assured Kimia my intentions are honourable...
The third link of the pattern Dante has so astutely spotted will coalesce tonight. I like the word "coalesce", incidentally.

I'm looking forward to the Antenorarammis meeting... how shall SHE be offended?

By this stage J'Artagnan, for all her fiery nature, was starting to get rather worried. Two duels was a substantial risk, and she had no real quarrel with either of her enemies. She resolved to be polite, even sycophantic, to all Intellecteteers she met henceforth.
Looking to her left, she saw a green-eyed female Intellecteteer, who happened to resemble Titian's Salome perfectly, drop a piece of paper. Eager to please, J'Artagnan rushed over to pick it up.
"Here you go, madame. It's yours, isn't it?"
But J'Artagnan had neglected to read the paper in question. As she looked closer at it, she saw it said:
"PROCEDURE FOR THE WHOLSALE POISONING OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY..."
More tomorrow morning!

<£<£<£ *loffs* It's a really great story. [/insert compliment] What time tomorrow morning? For I have to leave at 7:30 and I can't get ahold of a computer in the day, and in the evening I have to go to dance., "To catch up" I hate my teacher. I'm sure she hates me too. [/ontopic] Yay, more story, *loff*
