I'd just like to point out that I was never jealous of tk. I don't care about the Darkies and I don't want to draw anime. What reason would I have to be jealous?

As I said at the beginning of the story, none of the character interpretations should be taken literally. I've spoken to Elle and I hope that everything has been made clear.

Chapter 4
“Will somebody please just tell me what’s going on?!” Shelly screamed. She was sitting propped up against a rock, unable to move due to her broken leg. The others were running around like lunatics. Tragedy ran past but she grabbed at the leg of his pants to get his attention. “All you have to do is ask,” he said, undoing his belt. “No! Stop!” Shelly shouted impatiently. “Why is everyone rushing? What’s happening?” “Oh,” Tragedy said, disappointed. “Dante’s gone missing. He disappeared in the forest, just like Elle. Mijahu said they were talking just before it happened and he seemed fine then. He thinks… well he doesn’t think they’re lost.” “Spit it out! Are you trying to say there’s something in there?” “We don’t know. We’re going to search for him just in case.” “Well I’m coming too,” Shelly said, trying to shift her body. “No you’re not,” Charlotte said, walking up to them. “You need to rest your leg and we won’t be able to carry you.” Tragedy raised his eyebrows and was about to speak up but Charlotte glared at him. “I’m pretty useless sitting here on my own,” Shelly said, annoyed that she couldn’t help. “You’ll need to keep the fire going,” Charlotte said. “It’s nearly sunset. Anyway, you won’t be alone. Nobody’s going anywhere alone any more. Mijahu will stay and keep you company.” “Great,” Shelly grumbled. “Just great.”
Charlotte, Tragedy, Trikip and Bsam set out into the forest in search of the two missing 667ers. “Don’t be too long,” Mijahu said. “We’ll find them easier in daylight.” “By daylight it might be too late,” BSam and Trikip said grimly. Mijahu frowned and returned to Shelly. “How are you doing?” he asked. She looked at him with disdain. “Oh, I’m just fine. Lost in a deserted wasteland with a broken leg and a stinking slob for company. It’s what I’ve always dreamed of,” she sighed. “Just leave me alone.” Mijahu, hurt, walked back towards the charred houses.
Shelly woke up with a start. She had no idea when she had fallen asleep but that wasn’t important right now. She could hear something thrashing around in the lake. Could that be the thing that was taking the others? Panicked, she fumbled around for something to throw at it. She grabbed the closest thing to her side. It was a glass filled with water. Surprised, she twisted herself around to look. There was a tin of beans and an apple laid out on a blanket. But it wasn’t just a blanket, she realised. It was a stretcher; the cloth tied around two thin logs. These hadn’t been here before she fell asleep. She heard another splashing noise and looked closer at the lake. It was Mijahu, washing himself. With a pang of guilt, Shelly began to eat.
“Mijahu?” she called out later. “Are you there, Mijahu?” In silence he walked to her side. “Yes?” “You did all this for me? You made me this?” she asked, pointing to the stretcher. “Yes,” he said, emotionless. Shelly sighed. “I’m sorry,” she said. “I apologise about what I said earlier, and how I’ve been acting. You’ve been nothing but kind to me this whole time. It’s just hard, you know? Everything that’s happened… I just want to say thank you.” She smiled sheepishly at him. “I think that’s the first time I’ve seen you smile,” he said with a grin. They both laughed. “I don’t know why I do it, really. Why I act so angry all the time. It’s not who I really am.” “You should smile more often,” Mijahu said. “It suits you.” “Thanks,” Shelly replied, blushing. “I think I’ll go asleep now. You’ll take care of me won’t you?” “Of course,” Mijahu said. “Goodnight.” He kissed her on the cheek. “Goodnight,” Shelly whispered, happy once again.
Mijahu sat stoking the fire as Shelly slept beside him. There was still no sign of the others returning. He smiled to himself and closed his eyes. The sound of the fire crackled in his ears and the memories of the past few days began to swim around in his head. His breathing grew heavier and, slowly, the dreams took over and he was asleep.
He was woken up with a shake. He opened his eyes and briefly saw eight people standing over him. Once his double vision had corrected itself, he realised that it was just the search party. He yawned and stretched. “Mijahu!” BSam shouted. “Where is she?” Trikip asked, worriedly. “What are you talking about? Where’s Shelly?” he said, looking around. Tragedy and Charlotte looked at each other. “That’s what we’re asking you.” Mijahu jumped up, concerned. He looked to his right, where Shelly had been sleeping. “It’s not like she could have just gotten up and walked away,” Charlotte said. “No,” Mijahu said, shaking. “She didn’t.” He trembled as he realised that not only was Shelly missing; her stretcher was missing too.
