Okay... I'll warn you write now, if you do not believe in Hell, do not waste your time, go read the next post...
If you do believe in Hell, and still choose to not follow God, and be an Athiest, or whatever, why would you want to spend eternity, after you die, in the worst pain imaginable... Eternity never ends, it goes on forever and ever and never stops... Imagine the pain that you feel in Hell... Ugh... It is actually kinda scary... It is for me, anyway... Just wandering... What if my religion is not the writ one? WHat if Catholicism is correct, and Catholics go to Heavan and everyone else goes to Hell? But, then I remember, I have faith, and that is what believing in God is all about...

See, it's beliefs like your's that turned me to Agnocism. I can NOT and will NOT believe it a favorite-playing God. I believe God judges--if there is a God--by the righteousness of a person and not by the religion one believes. What kind of judge is that? "All Christains--just, raping, murdering, baby-eating, (because, guess what, Christains DO rape people, kill and eat babies just like all the godless unsaved heathens) whatever, just Christains go to Heaven and everyone else, go to hell."
Jerome, what makes you believe in hell and not the bogeyman?

Jerome, what makes you believe in hell and not the bogeyman? No, J, Christians do not do that stuff... People who might claim that they are Christian may do that stuff... But they are not real Christians then, now are they? I don't believe their is a bogeyman, because there is not a 1000+ page book on him, is there? I find it ridiculously hard, to believe the Bible is a hoaxe... (May have spelled hoaxe wrong)

Some one went and wrote them to make money, didn't they? No one made money off the bible, the writer I mean...
No offense, J, but you are way too naive to try to get my point across to...

Wasn't their a survery about this? And that 9 out of 10 Americans didn't care, or want to keep it in?
It's not like you have to say "One nation under God" when you recite the Pledge of Alligence.

That isn't surprising... 95% of the people in the world believe in some higher being, whether it be God, Bhudda, Zeus, even...

haha...No one believes in Zeus or Jupitar anymore buddy. That's all theological now.
But that is logical, since atheism doesn't make much since. For if you were atheist- where does human nature come from? The sense of what is right and what is wrong.

And you're to naive to get MY point across to, Jerome. No offense. A stubborn Atheist/Agnostic against a stubborn believer fight is not likely to get very far. I understand your point; the bible is sacred and you believe it speaks the truth.

I was giving a stupid example with Zeus, but who's Jupitar?
Exactly... They may be able to say some wack-job theory of how we were created, the big bang, evolution, but explain morals and feelings... And, tell me this, those athiests (I have decided that they no longer deserve to be capatilized) who believe we evolved form monkeys. If we did so, then why don't monkeys evolve into humans anymore. What, they ate a magic banana that made the evolution stop? Exactly, point proven, like it or not! (About the monkeys)
Although, I also feel my point about God's existence is proven, but obviously not enough to people on this forum...

I understand your point; the bible is sacred and you believe it speaks the truth. I'd just like to say this, J... Pretend you create something wonderful, something extraordinaire, something beautiful that you only wish will lead a good life and be with you someday... And after a few years of God (You) knows what, the something wonderful stops believing in you? The very own that gave that thing life, decides you are a myth, wouldn't your heart be broken... I feel bad for God, because of people like you (Athiest)...

Evolution is always happening. Plants and animals are evolving everyday to new threats. And of course, it's not like you instantly change into a completely new organism. The thing is, we just don't notice it. We're oblivious to it. And if evolution is true, why can't you just believe that God is the one who made it happen?

This argument will never go anywhere. Maybe my opinion on religion will change--likely to deism.
