Now lies the question of the order in which the fanwork will go. My suggestion is to keep it randomized in terms of type of work, but then will there be an order of longest to shortest, shortest to longest, in the order they are submitted etc.

Roughly shortest to longest, for fanfics, makes sense; don't want to be too intimidating. Mine will have to come last as it's stupidly long. But really it depends on what sort of material we get, like we wouldn't want five consecutive images of Fiona, for example. Or would we? I wouldn't really worry about this until everything's in.

Is it going to be a thread then? If it's a thread then it might be quite hard to read, the font is quite small and takes a while to read, if it was in pdf. form (and here I will enforce my idea again..sorry...s c r a pbook?) in pdf. then he can keep it, in a thread he would have to copy and paste to keep and re-read it easily. I think if you could compile it so that he can read it all the time then I think it might be easier, and more personal. Wait... I think i've been a bit stupid... do you mean that we submit our contributions into a thread and then you compile it into pdf form? Because then a) I look a bit of a prat and b) it's a really good idea.

I did look into the .pdf thing, and unless anyone already has a subscription with Adobe Reader, that option's out. It turns out you have to pay. Here's the idea as I see it: we give some more time for ideas to come in, then I make two new threads; one for reasons why ASOUE is a wonderful book series, and one to submit your contributions. Then, we put them into a decided order, and Dante makes a Dastardly Document out of it and sends Handler the link to it and whatever we decide the cover will be. I don't think the thread should be too hard to read; he can copy and paste it, like you said, or he can read it directly off the forum.

I have the most recent Adobe Reader, I'd be happy to put it together? I just think that I find it quite hard to read and he's probably fairly busy, in a book or folder thing in adobe then he can read it whenever he likes, we could always do both?

Well, we'll see what everyone else thinks. Certainly, there are advantages to both sides.

I definitely favour the PDF idea.

We don't have to decide for a while. We could take a vote for it or just see if one option seems easiest when it gets nearer the time. I can see advantages to both sides.

I'm in favor of your voting idea, Dante. I am currently undecided myself, seeing as both PDF and an online thread present an equal amount of positives.

Likewise. However I think we should wait until the time draws near before voting or deciding, just to see how the matter presents itself. The next thing to do is get all the contributions together, and then we'll take it from there.

Good idea, Sherry Ann. Perhaps we can wait until two weeks before, and then someone can make a poll?
I thought I might be able to wrap up work on my fanfic last night, but I ran into writer's block. So I'm going to try and finish it this weekend instead.

There's plenty of time, though I'm not sure if a poll is really necessary. But we'll see.

Yeah, you're probably right. Like you said, the first thing we need to do is gather everyone's contributions together in a thread and then go from there.

I second Hermes, although we could still do both, I really would be honoured to put it together... In adobe, I must say I am fairly skilled at using it.

Another way we could do it is to make the pdf., put the link to it in the DDocuments, and give Handler the link to that. I don't know how thrilled he'll be to be clicking around everywhere, but after we've submitted all the contributions, this is the surely one of the next issues to cover.
