My father recently bought a bird feeder from a hardware store called Armstrong's. Also, I've been hearing the calls of a killdeer at night.

Not exactly a coincidence, but last night I had a dream that book 3 was released. It was orange, and called "Who Are You?"

As dreams go, that's actually quite plausible.

I'm uncertain as to wether this is the right thread to post this, but has anyone else noticed that the villains in ATWQ seem to have fire-related names? A) Hangfire B) Dr. Flammarion

Not really the right place - this is more for coincidences in your own life rather than in the books. (Also, Dr. Flammarion's name is derived from a French author.) But in future, feel free to start a new thread for such questions, or try the General Speculation Thread.

The meaning of "Hangfire" is when a bullet stays inside a gun even when you meant to shoot it. Pretty weird name.

A kid's reading group in the place where I am visiting is reading WCTBATH! I want to join them!

This is also not a coincidence, but I bought a copy of WCTBATH in Spanish. Usually I don't read translations, but it is a fun way to practice languages. I will post any special differences that I find. (We need a thread for those "not coincidence" things)

Strangely our library had set up smoke alarms and sprinklers. Were there threats of arson?

Today I was in one of those historic villages and in the store there were stuffed octopuses and sea horses on top of each other. There was also a lighthouse there and in the place where once was the press the guide talked about how the ink is black and makes stains. Triple coincidence!

Yesterday, at the Passover Seder, my brother asked the four questions that the youngest child is supposed to ask. And the he said: "those were the wrong questions!" (Unintentionally!)
