I think a case in which it would make a difference for someone if someone else is gay or not is if they are gay themselves and saw the person as a potential partner.

People have assumed once or twice that my best friend and I were a couple and we just played along with it. Not to the extent of making out or anything, but it was more fun to pretend to be a couple than to get super offended by it.

i have noticed that people tend to think you're a lesbian if you hold hands with a girl all the time.

i tend to like people more if i find out they're not entirely straight. i know orientation is a stupid reason to like or dislike someone but i figuratively literally dont care.

i don't like straight people any less, but i do like people less if i find out they think homosexuality is wrong. i can't help it.
same with people who think all other religions but theirs are wrong or people who feel the need to tell everyone that all religions are wrong.

It's okay to think less of people when you find out they're narrow-minded and prejudiced.

same with people who think all other religions but theirs are wrong or people who feel the need to tell everyone that all religions are wrong. I dont really dilike people any less becuase of that, but it does amuse me when peopel say that. But it amuses me when people dislike people becuase of what they think, becuase it doesnt really affect anything EdIT : actualy i take that back, becuase there are some things that i can't agree with like that, but i wouldnt say i would think less of a person.

Thoughts do affect things when people act upon them.

i'm confused. are you saying you're amused by the people i'm describing or are you amused by people saying what i said? Im also confused. i just confused myself. I mean im amused by people the people you described, yes, but that im not the type of person who would dislike someone because of that, unless they are the type of person who would act upon those things.

The guy I sit next to in maths has the most prejudiced opinions on everything. My friend and I amuse ourselves by arguing with him through maths. It gets ruined though, every time the stuck-up Christian boy gets involved (he, despite being on the other side of the debate also has the worst opinions ever).

it's so exhausting and silly that straight's the default, i think everyone's queer until proven otherwise.
i think you should be happy when people think you're gay because tbh most heteros are awful

Okay, I just assume people aren't gay if they don't say anything else because I only met a gay person in real life once, so my chances to be right are bigger like this. i think you should be happy when people think you're gay because tbh most heteros are awful So you can just say that like this, but if anyone said it the opposite way everyone would throw virtual salsa at them.
