If someone has a cold does it bother you more if they sniffle incessantly, or blow their noses loudly? When you have a cold, do you sniffle, or blow your nose? Which do you think is medically better?

They should please blow their noses. My brother always sniffles all the time when he has a cold and it makes me aggressive. I blow my nose, because the sniffle sound would still make me aggressive if I made it myself. Doctor people always say sniffling is better, but they change their mind about everything every few years so I'm waiting for that.

Blow your nose because you'd be getting the boogers out that way. Sniffling just gets the boogers back inside your nostrils, which is disgusting.

Sniffling and blowing my nose. I also can't talk properly currently, because cold.

I have a cold 90% of the year so I spend too much time sniffling and blowing my nose to notice if other people are doing it too.
If there were a 667-ASoUE list I would be Mr. Poe.

I usually sniffle because I feel like blowing my nose is a sign of acceptance that I have a cold.
I find it hard to admit when I'm sick.

It depends on where I am. I refuse to blow my nose if there's anyone near me.

I also hate when people are ill and still going to school or work or whatever because 1. they stay ill longer if they don't relax for a while, 2. they make everyone else ill too, and 3. it's annoying if people sniffle/blow their nose/cough all the time, especially during tests at school.

I get that but I wouldn't miss a test because of a stupid cough.

I am with Bandit on having a cold 90% of the time. I forget what it's like to feel healthy. I get a cold in any of these circumstances: I don't shower for a couple of days; I go near anything that can cause an allergy; someone sneezes on me; I go from freezing cold to warm too quickly; I sleep in for too long; I go anywhere near dust; I breathe. But on the plus side, I have a gut of steel! I always sniffle, because I feel like blowing my nose is disgusting. So I'm the terrible one in every test. I haven't blown my nose since my 1st Grade teacher forced me to. Also Pumpka if I stayed home when I was contagiously sick, I would be at home my whole life.

You guys must lack certain vitamins in your diet causing you to have a weak immune system! At least that's what my mom tells me everytime I get sick. Which is rarely. Actually this year I got sick for two weeks and it was the most time I've ever been sick.
Also why would you not shower for two days? That's just gross.

I have a good immune system! I think I might've just developed a psychological mental state against it. Last month my entire family had a vomiting bug for an entire week and despite living in the same house as them, I didn't get it at all. I had a few exams that week, and I'm really glad I didn't miss them. I wouldn't stay off school/work for the cold I have now. I tend to find I get better quicker by continuing to work, rather than lying in bed, moping and being bored all day. Also why would you not shower for two days? That's just gross. I also find it super gross that some people won't wash their hair for like 3 days or something. I wash mine everyday, which is meant to be """bad""" but it's actually fine.
