I agree. Handler probably had the titles of the last books planned out whenever he started planning things for the last books, which was probably several years ago. And if we were to figure out the correct answer now, or even a while ago, it'd be too late to change the title.

Yes, I'm sure this isn't a "Oh shoot it's taking me awhile to coin a title let's have a nameless campaign" gimmick, it's just pure suspense and publicity. A nameless novel is much more interesting than book 12 of this semi popular series entitled "*insert title here*"

Like many others have said, I doubt they would change the (most likely already chosen) title just because it was mentioned on this forum.
Not unless they were desperate and still didn't have a title. But of course they are better than that. Or are they?

Whatever the title is it must/ better be really good, otherwise with all the secrecy and suspense it will be a real let down, and I willed be forced to punch someone...
Does anyone at all know what time it will be released in Australia or more specifically due to time differences in Victoria???
Any info will be gratefully received

I just thought of a great idea for the title. Suppose the plot of the book has VFDers on both sides of the schism running around disguised in false mustaches, beards, and wigs.
Title? "The Hirsute Hotel"

Or "The Hairy Hotel". That's a clever theory, although it's giving me the mental image of a hotel that's literally covered in hair, which is rather unlikely. Still, we certainly have some characters with fake facial hair.

According to September 23rd's entry, there is a hint on the link: www.kidzworld.com/site/book_shelf.htm There is a fake taxi ad on Kidsworld that says: "TERMINAL TAXI CO. Your trusted associate for emergency transportations HOTEL PICKUPS AND DROPOFFS As featured in The Theoretical Truth by Lemony Snicket" If you click on it, it returns to www.thenamelessnovel.com This is speculated to be the title of Book the Twelfth; however, some fans believe that this is merely a red herring, and that the title would not be released in such an undramatic way and be so vague (the titles of Snicket's previous books are directly related to the plot of the book and are a location). |

shasha910, please don't copy-paste stuff straight from Wikipedia. Not only does it imply that you wrote it yourself, which you did not, it also clogs up the page with a great deal of things which we have already thought of, or which are too mundane to mention.
Edit: Also, there was really no need to post it twice. I've removed the parts which don't refer to the title of the book, as there's really no need for all that TheNamelessNovel.com speculation here, and you're not meant to post the same thing in two separate threads, either.

Though there are an inordinate amount of disguises and whatnot, even by VFD standards... But then considering that the good sides and bad sides are all in the same place that's not too surprising..
