It's a children's seires, and if Handler killed off one of the Baudelaire children, the entire world would HATE him and noone would buy any more of his books. I don't even think one of the Quagmires will die. But I do think the seires will end with a good and bad. Good: -Count Olaf will be sent to jail. -The Baudelaires and the Quagmires will live in happiness with Justice Strauss. -The world will realize that the Baudelaires are innocent. Bad: -Count Olaf will escape but will fail to steal the Baudelaire or the Quagmire fortune. -Lemony Snicket will still be a fugitive. -Beatrice will die in Book 13. But isn't Beatrice ALREADY dead?? *confused* .... i know the hwole theory about beatrice being Mrs. Baudelaire... and the whole thing that one person survived the fire... but does that mean that all of the notes in the beginning of the book **example form TBB "To Beatrice--darling, dearest, dead"** arent true???

If the books are being written long after the events took place, then Beatrice could die in Book the Thirteenth, and Snicket could be writing the series, starting with TBB, after that happened.
I don't believe that theory myself.

There's also the possibility that some version of the books was published while the events were still taking place, but Lemony edited them after everything was said and done, and what we have now are the final versions.

i havent read everybodies iseas so forgive me if i am repeating something.
I think that the series will end in a bad way.
Firstly...... i have a theory that maybe the baudelaire orphans will die. This is because in the TAA somewhere, the orphans are talking about a picnic that they went on with their parents when they were still alive, then they said that it would be fun go go back to those same picnic grounds and they hoped that they would. Then Lemony says but they never did return. Lemony is also in their time period i know because he was in a picture with the baudelaire parents. So the baudelaire orphans must have a pretty short life if Lemony knows that they never went back to the picnic grounds. Because he is writting about it.
I have more theories but will hopefully write them up later.
Please write more comeback to this letter.

...but the Baudelaires knew that even if someday they went back to Rutabaga River - which they never did, by the way - that it would not be the same.

I also think they will die, because I am under the impression that they are human and naturally all humans die at one point in their life. Just kidding, I know what you mean, the books will end with them dieing. I have to disagree but...There could be many reasons why the baudelaires do not return to that place, maybe they get a life sentence in jail, or the river is lit on fire it could happen they managed to burn down a pool lol...In the second book it says something like even as Klaus lay in his bed at night years later he thought if only...something...something..uncle monty...I'm sorry i can't find the quote or pg number but I made a note of it in my blank bk which I can't find at the moment....if anyone has the quote posting it here would be much appreciated

You could burn down a body of water if you caused it to boil away somehow, using "burn down" in the loose sense of "destroy by fire".
And I don't think the Baudelaires will actually die at the end of the series; Handler has specified that the books won't end with everyone dead. A more likely tragic ending is that they'll be lost and alone, alive but unhappy.

I think you might be right.
I think that it would be pretty stupid and upsetting and shocking if he killed of the main charcters.

Aha! I found the quote yah ...pg 44 TRR For years after this moment in the lives of the baudelaire orphans, Klaus thought of the time when he and his siblings realized that stephano was actually Count Olaf- ....but Klaus would lie away in bed, years later, thinking that maybe, just maybe, if he had acted in time, he could have saved Uncle Monty's life. I think we can safely assume that AT LEAST klaus does not die during the series, and that years later he will have the hospitality of a bed

Yes, but that wouldn't matter, since it's pretty unlikely that aSoUE is just going to jump ahead several years at some point just so that Klaus can die.

Maybe it will end with the Baudelaire orphans(or at least Klaus) in a reasonably safe place, the implication being that they survive for many years more. I don't think the series will jump ahead many years unless it's absolutely necessary.

He will hear the alarm Ring I think that he wanted to a bed for comfort and need a bed to relax and forget about what has happened to him in the past because he will have to almost go throught another expierence like the last one which was horrible to hear about, but what can we all do about it? The thouht of doing that is a nightmare for any one and one day he will want to go to the tiolet while he is lying in bed, he will hear a ring.

"I need to go to and while." What could this cryptic message mean?
