Other. I know I had an idea for a character who might turn evil, but I'm not sure who it was now. Not one of the ones you mentioned, anyway. Well, perhaps Quigley, but I doubt it.

I'm guessing Hector, for some reason I'm not sure of. However, like so many other's he hasn't been truly evil, just useless.

Like Antenora, I think Hector, but I am not so sure why anymore. I was listening to tVV on audio book a couple of weeks ago, and as I like to do I was pausing every now and then and making notes of interesting things. Somewhere along the way I was seized with the certainty that Hector was evil; oh, how I was despairing! but I cannot recall now exactly why. Perhaps it's because he let Jacques die, when we know they knew each other - but no, that was supposedly a consequence of his "skittishness," and I don't hold that against him. Was it his withholding of information? Just about every adult and volunteer in the series is party to this omerta, but it struck me about Hector particularly... I can't remember why. It just seemed to me that he wore his silence more villainously than others. Oh! I think it had something to do with the fact that Jacques was looking for the Baudelaires (we have supposed; at least he was "so glad that they were alive") and here they were, staying with Hector the volunteer, and he should have let the organization know. And that Jacques seemed about to tell the Baudelaires something about their parents that I would guess Hector should know too, and Hector didn't say anything about it. He didn't say ANYTHING about anything, about V.F.D., or even that he knew this man Jacques. It seemed to me that once Jacques showed willing to break the omerta, to tell the Baudelaires about their parents and the village about his belonging to V.F.D., Hector should have taken that as a go-ahead to break it also and tell the Baudelaires things. I don't know. I'm a bit hazy on the erstwhile bolt of surety that seized me before. But I still harbor the aftershock of suspicion...
My second choice would be Quigley, but that's a more quiet suspicion and due to the confusion and twistiness which inhabits pretty much every aspect of the series.

I think it'll be somebody else they think they can trust. Like Poe. That would be a turn of events, if he actually isn't just inept, but actually trying to get the fortune for himself!

I think Poe isn't evil, but more likely a puppet of Olaf. I've suspected that Olaf is bribing him into giving out information somehow, or perhaps threatening him into obedience.

Poe is more of a puppet. Long ago, I thought he was evil but then there is always Hector. Quiet Hector.....yes. EVIL!

"It's always the quiet ones..." -Countless sources
I don't think that Poe is knowingly working against the Baudelaires or V.F.D. I do, however, believe that he is being manipulated by people and forces he doesn't understand - the mysterious J.S., for example (although that's a discussion for The Gloom Looms).
Hector, whilst his behaviour is odd and his past dubious, doesn't really seem to me to be villain material.

Hector is not the villianous type but he is likely to be evil. He is more likely than the other people listed in this poll.

I voted Kit for various reasons. None of which I know.
[glow=red,2,300]Edit[/glow]- I think Kit used to be evil but has gone good. Once again based on reasons unknown.

It would be cool if Phil turned out to be evil.
Otherwise I have no idea. I dont suspect any traitor in the midst.

Esmé? Evil? Don't be so ridiculous. Why, of all the characters in aSoUE, she's the most noble and honourable. Why, next you'll be telling me that Lemony was in love with a woman named Beatrice.
