I'm seriously going to write a fanfic of Teleram and Mr. Poe to win 2017 Best writing Darkie.

Aside from Olaf and his henchmen, it's a close-call between Mr. Poe and VP Nero.

I hate Mr Poe, he's such an idiot, and Ishmael's just pathetic. Nero, Carmelita, and Kevin are annoying, and Sir and the Village Elders just used the Baudelaires for work. Babs is annoying but she barely qualifies as a character.

The character that really made me mad at her was Olivia Taliban. I think that worse than choosing to be a villain like Olaf or not realizing you're a villain like Sir or not realizing anything like Mr Poe or being weak like Jerome or manipulative like Ish is being a traitor like Olivia Taliban.
I understand she's been in disguise for so long that she's lost track of reality. I understand that for a long time she chose to survive in a chaotic world, simply doing whatever was asked of her. But when the Baudelaires made her take off her disguise, she managed to come to her senses. She cried, finally showing who she was after a long time. She made the Baudelaires trust her, not because she had some malevolent intent like Esmé, but because she really was being herself. But after that, her simply betraying their trust and informing Olaf of their real identity (at least that's how I understand what happened) seems so disgusting! She had the opportunity to escape that thankless life she led and join the Baudelaires. But instead she purposely betrayed them. Her death is one of the things that shocked me most as a child, especially when I heard in my imagination her bones breaking in the mouths of lions. That scene was really graphic in my imagination. But still, that death was no redemption for me. That account reminded me a lot of Judas Iscariot: betrayal followed by violent death caused by a fall. Judas however was greedy and envious. But what was Madame Lulu's motivation in betraying the Baudelaires? I never understood, and her death simply left me with doubts about her sanity. I mean, if she cheated on them because she was crazy, was her death narratively justified or was it an unjust death? I mean, not even dying did she make me comfortable! I mean, Olaf's death was narratively justified. Kit's death was clearly an unfair tragedy. But what about Madame Lulu's death? How should I feel about this? In the Netflix series, Madame Lulu's death was a very clear and unfair tragedy. But not in books. Besides, most of the accusations I've made against her are just guesswork. Olaf and Esmé may have discovered the Baudelaires' true identity through other means. So, I'm not even absolutely sure she's a traitor, as the evidence is completely circumstantial. In other words, I don't know how I felt towards Olivia, and that makes me hate her more than anyone else.

I hate Kevin. He's annoying. I don't hate Poe. He's okay.
