Dante, did you know?- "The Beatrice letters" will be translate on Russian? That's interesting. I wouldn't have thought it'd be too commonly translated, although it's possible it'll be packaged differently. I don't know, but you could probably try some international online ordering sites. Anyway, the main reason for my posting was just because they've got another picture. Just for show, but it's still nice:

Hmmmm........
I had plans to buy The Complete Wreck next Friday. My local Borders store web page lists it as needing to be ordered. I suppose they won't stock too many of them (or even none) so I ordered one. I hope it's there by next Friday.

I know that either Gigi or Dante noted this with the first picture of an actual The End copy, but in the rest of the pictures that shows The End with pages, there's that strange red-orange piece on the inside of the spine. Maybe that's just TPP (Penultimate Peril) with The End's cover pasted on for B&N's website?

Yes. That was my thought too.

Do The End looks thicker than TPP? If it does, then it's something different than TPP with the pasted cover.

The weird thing is that it actually does.

I saw it! I touched it! It was within my grasp!
I stopped at Borders today to make sure the Complete Wreck I ordered would be in on Friday. The clerk went in the back room to check and brought it out to show me it was already there! Only a thin layer of plastic separated me from it.
Of course, I asked if I could buy it today. Darn, they wouldn't let me. (I had to ask, right?)
Anyway, it is very impressive. I even turned it over to see the bottom, since you can't see it in any of the pictures online. I don't remember everything, but it was more of Count Olaf from each book. I do remember the column with an intercom speaker on it from THH.
Only three more days until I can bring it home!

Random idea:
If somebody who owned the boxes posted scanned-in pictures and the exact dimensions, then couldn't people who can't afford the box make their own?

I suppose they could.
I am going soon to get my set. I'm planning on scanning each picture and posting them here. It's up to you to make your own box.

Ooh! Quickly, scan them! I wonder if it has any pics of Olaf from The End?

No, it doesn't. This is a busy weekend for me, with a family birthday to celebrate, so I won't have time to scan the pics until later this week.
