Dear Readers,
While I was on Barnes and Noble looking up things on Lemony Snicket, I came across The Complete Wreck. When you find it on Barnes and Noble, click on the "View back of product" button. The picture will totally suprise you.

Those are even better than I thought they would be. Am I wrong, or are the pictures around the sides pictures of every one of Olaf's disguises? And him in cool poses! I think that's basically what a lot of us wanted. I wonder what they'll do for the books where he's undisguised, though - probably just make up appropriate garb for him, as with TGG. On the front view, on the very bottom right image, is Olaf wearing a pirate hat?
Also, that back cover - wow. I guess that B13 is going to be kinda Biblical, then, unless Helquist just interpreted it that way for his art. It's great artwork, though, and I love the way it includes things from pretty much every book. I think this has turned out better than I expected; I doubt I could be happier.
Edit: I'll go add this occurrence to my B13 thread in The End.

I was amazed when I saw it. It was fantastic.

It's hard to tell about the pirate hat. To me it looks like it's from TSS, with the icy mountains. But that could just be the clouds I'm seeing.
The top of the box goes in order of the first four books. On the one side we can see TGG and the unknown "pirate" picture. The other side (on the back image) appears to have TAA and TEE. We can only assume that TVV through TSS are on the bottom.
Okay, I guess I'm changing my story. I think you're right Dante. That probably is the pirate hat from TPP next to TGG on the side. So I guess The End doesn't get a small individual picture, just the back.

I don't know if it's a pirate hat, but I'm guessing that the images would go in some rough order, and for the books where Olaf's undisguised, Helquist would tailor Olaf's clothes anyway, as he's done for TGG (on the cover of GLooms and on TCW, apparently). So I think it's a TPP picture, although it's really hard to make out; Olaf also seems to be holding something in his hand, and it looks kinda like a flipper, and something on his shoulder; it could be the remnants of his TGG costume for his arrival in TPP, perhaps.
Edit: The worst part is that we'll have to wait until October 13th, and probably longer, until we can get some clearer pictures of those Olaf images - for TLLibrary, SnicketFace had to buy it and take pictures.

I really want that box! If I do some fund-raising at school, maybe I can buy it and give the books away as prizes on Unfortunate Day and keep the box for myself. That's not too greedy, right? I would be encouraging kids to read.

I'm thinking about throwing my money away and buying it, too. I would, as a collector, appreciate copies of the HarperCollins editions of each book in addition to the Egmont ones, and I do have a lot of money to spare for a £75 extravagance...
Edit: There are definitely a further four Olaf pictures on the bottom, you can see the edges of them on the front view.

Oh, it's beautiful. I can't afford to re-buy the whole series, though, I just can't. Damn HarperCollins and their schemes. I want those illustrations!

Oh, it's so beautiful. I really, really like the image on the back, especially Violet (I thought her dress was purple?) and her forbidden-fruit pose. What is the thing below the mushroom and to the right of the In Boutique bag? I think it looks like a frog.
I wish the HC only sold the box; I don't have that much money to spend on the entire collection again. Maybe I could get away with if I bought it for someone else and then just kept the box. I don't know.

I think that's actually a frog lamp, from TPP, with the top half looking a bit like a mushroom. There's something from every book, it seems: TBB: eye painting TRR: Viper TWW: ropes TMM: stockings TAA: violin TEE: In Boutique bag TVV: pitcher THH: balloon TCC: crystal ball TSS: fencing mask TGG: helmet TPP: lamp End: General scenery, fruit. Also, I wish there was some way to buy just the boxes of boxed book sets, as I probably can't afford this. Or my parents wouldn't want me buying redundant copies of books I already have.

I love it! It's amazing. I really want it, but I can't buy them again. Just photocopies of the pictures on regular paper would be enough for me.
The "pirate one" is The End, right?

The "pirate one" is The End, right? I would assume it's TPP, since the pictures around the sides otherwise appear to be going in order of book (the top is TBB through TMM in order, one side is TAA then TEE, and you can count that there are twelve pictures all around), so if it were B13 they'd have to be skipping one book and putting the pictures out of order, or something. That said, if I saw it on its own and had to guess, I'd probably think of The End for the pirate hat.

It's totally amazing! I want to buy that picture on the back with a frame and hang it on my wall.
I guess everyone already knew about The End's spine colour: browny, purplish somethig. All the letters are capital. It looks shorter than the others too. But this was all already known, so anyways... 1 2 3 4 6 If this is the front, the 11 5 book pics are like this 12 7? 8? 9? 10? bottom maybe ^

Dear Readers,
If you look closey at the thirteenth book, you can tell that there is no pages in it. It is a cardboard fold out to make it look like the real thing. Maybe so noone will realese it to the public.
