I think that the 13th book will not be called "The Vicious Victory", simply because there is already a "VV", but also because the other books names are all about a place, but "The Vicious Victory", is just saying what will happen. I think the 13th books name will be about a place. This has propably already been mentioned but i dont read every thread.

Not all the other names are about a place: The Bad beginning The Penultimate Peril.
The last one may have something to do with finish, finale, or something to that effect. No denouement because that's supposed to have happened in tpp, and no 'end' because of ersatz elevator.

Yeah, and they haven't used F yet. Nor have they used several letters that it could be.

"The Atrocious Anticlimax" would be great if they hadn't already used A.

Ha, that would be an interesting one. The Ravaging Resolution would be nice except they used r. They haven't used D F I J K L N Q T U X Y Z

They haven't used O either, have they?
Hey...maybe after ASOUE is over Snicket/Handler will publish a second series of books covering the Quagmires' (A Further Series Of Unfortunate Events?) lives or something and use the same titling system so every letter of the alphabet is used!

Hmm. I doubt that, because if the world has any decency at all, the Quagmire and Baudelaire stories will end together.

Maybe B13 has the Quagmires coming to the rescue, and then we have a series of books explaining what happened after (and, of course, before) they got into the self-sustaining whatever. To confuse the people who are unsure whether or not the series is real, Handler could use Duncan Quagmire as a pen-name...

He claims he hasn't researched the Quagmires nearly as much as the Bauds. It's not gonna happen. However, I have heard a rumour about the Quag notebooks. Hm...

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Snicket doing a sequel series starring the Quagmires would be a cheap sell-out and I like to think that I would refuse to buy it.

Though I wouldn't want it about the Quagmires, I think a spin-off series is the only way to go. Perhaps about VFD?
