I think that Dubledore will die because he is the only one that Voldemort feared so Voldemort probably wants to get him out of the way before he can get Harry. Or maybe Cho will die cause Harry likes her so Vodemort wants to upset Harry because he dispises him. Wrong, Harry doesn't like Cho anymore so that'd have minimal impact on him at this point. And of course Voldemort wants to get dumbledore out of the way, there's just one small problem: He can't, dumbledore's too powerful even for him.

How can you "kill" off Myrtle if she is already dead?

You can somehow make her leave Hogwarts or you could bend the magical rules and give Myrtle a chance to pick the other choice given to dying wizards and have her 'go on' like Nick said about Sirius. "He will not choose that path, he will have gone on."

It's going to be Hermione I bet. Voldemort probably loses to Harry again so he gets mad and kills off a friend of Harry's to cause him mpain and misery. Then, Harry will want to either get him and fail or become weak and unhappy and loose. It might be Neivile (Spelled wrong!) too because of the prophacy and hermione for the fun of it.

Both valid points but how does voldemort just walk up and kill hermione? He can't get into hogwarts, and that's where she is most of the time.

lol thats funny, I think it may be or another character or one of Harry's friends, because there's where Harry would feel more pain, loosing his friends, and thats what voldemort wants. It may be Neville, because of the prophecy. I hope J.K. dont kill either Neville nor Hermione because they are my favorite characters. I dont care if everyone dies if it is not Harry, Neville, Hermione, Luna or Dumbledore. . . . just joking . . . . another death will be very sad, as sad as it would be reading the last and final book.

I don't really care if they kill of Neville. In fact, I think they should. But I DO care about his parents, they need to get better. I don't really care if they're unable to tell people exactly what happened to them but I DO hope they get better. There's lots of theories GW has that I support concerning the longbottoms but that's not the point of this thread so I'm not bringing them up just now.

Yeah, I think the Longbottoms will definately at least be mentioned in the next book. I really wouldn't care if Neville died, I kinda hope he does.
I can't wait until the book comes out and we see who actually dies! I hope its not disappointing, like Trevor the Toad or Crabbe dying.

Crabbe and Goyle are so dumb that them dying really wouldn't make much of a difference. Except that Malfoy might be less confident.

What about the Weasly's? One of them anyways, like Percy or Bill. I'm rereading the 5th Harry Potter book again and it mentions how Mrs. Weasly is worried for her family's safety now that all of them are in the Order. I hope Fred and George remain okay.

They should be fine. I mean, who wants to attack joke shop runners? And are we sure they're officially in the order?

Are there any other ideas out there? I think Voldemort might just kill off Wormtail out of pure frustration. Or maybe Grawp'll die. They never really said what happened to him at the end of the 5th book, just that Hagrid was thinking of getting him a "lady' friend, lol. Omg!!! Look what I just found at the Leaky Cauldron web-site(where JK Rowling had answers to many questions). Here's something I found most interesting: What will Ron's job be when he leaves school?Well, assuming he lives to leave school... I'm not going to tell you What if it's Ron that dies? Oh I couldn't bear it! She can't kill Ron, but her answer seems to hint that she might.

No, JKR is cryptic in her answers to questions like that because a lot of people think that Harry, Ron or Hermione will die, and she doesn't want to spoil it for them. And likewise for those who don't think that they'll die, should it be the case that they will.

She's going to put in a hint like that to make people think thoughts like you just did, 'OMG THEY CAN'T DIE'. She even answers such questions with 'If Harry lives after school' which of course he will, you just don't kill off the main character...
