My TSS, actually, has the Baudelaires in their fencing masks and warm clothing at the top, and Olaf on the bottom. TGG is the same but with the Baudelaires in diving suits.

My TCC has the disguised Baudelaires at the top, and regular Olaf at the bottom. My TSS has the masked Violet and Klaus, and Sunny on top, and regular Olaf at the bottom. My TGG has the suited Baudelaires at the top, and regular Olaf at the bottom.
These are consistent with the earlier books, with the Baudelaires on top and Olaf on the bottom. With regards to disguises, in TBB, where nobody was disguised, the Baudelaires were still on top and Olaf still beneath. I am inclined to think that my versions are correct (partially because I'd force myself to get new copies if my books were defective), although it is possible that it is different between countries. Next time I go to a bookstore, I'll check the TCCs, TSSs, and TGGs to see whether more recent editions are different.

My copy of TCC has Normal!Baudelaires at the top, and Freak!Baudelaires at the bottom. Maybe it is a difference between editions, and the British edition of TCC was changed because it was released later.

Maybe it is a difference between editions, and the British edition of TCC was changed because it was released later. A quick check between Amazon UK and US indicates that TCC was released in Britain around a year later than in the US - indeed, seemingly even after TSS was released in America. As such, that explanation would seem probable. Edit: I did end up going to a bookstore. All the TCCs, TSSs and TGGs match up with mine.

My copy of TCC has Normal!Baudelaires at the top, and Freak!Baudelaires at the bottom. Maybe it is a difference between editions, and the British edition of TCC was changed because it was released later. That's exactly what MY TCC looks like. EDIT: THIS is my theory on what happened: A long time ago, in 2002, The Carnivorous Carnival was released REGULAR BAUDELAIRES on TOP, and DISGUISED FREAK BAUDELAIRES on BOTTOM. Then, in 2003, when The Slippery Slope was released, the publishers (or maybe Handler) decided to always put the BAUDELAIRES on TOP, and COUNT OLAF, disguised or not, on BOTTOM. After that, they changed The Carnivorous Carnival to match accordingly, as such: BAUDELAIRES, disguised or not, on TOP, and COUNT OLAF on the BOTTOM. There. As for you PJ, maybe in Australia it is different. According to what everyone has said, this change only seems to apply to Britain and America. EDIT 2: My TCC: Bauds on top, disguised Bauds on bottom, as I got it when it was FIRST RELEASED. My TSS: Bauds in masks on top, regular Olaf on bottom. (2003) My TGG: Bauds in diving suits on top, regular Olaf on bottom. (2004)

My US TCC has Baudelaires (freaks) on top, Olaf on bottom My UK TSS has Baudelaires (snow scouts) on top, Olaf on bottom My UK TGG has Baudelaires (divers) on top, Olaf on bottom
Note-I got my US copy of TSS months and months before TSS came out, and yet mine has Baudelaire-Freaks and Regular-Olaf, not Baudelaire-Regular and Baudelaire-Freaks.

I think you mean TCC. Just pointing it out.
EDIT: After rereading my copy of TGG, I have noticed that, for my copy, Chapter 37, is titled Morel Behaviour In A Free Society. Thoughts, people.

Morel, the fungus, I can understand. But Morel Behaviour In A Free Society. I mean, who behaves like morel?
On second thoughts, don't answer that.

It's a parody of "Moral Behaviour in a Free Society," which I think is some sort of famous phrase. However, it's off-topic, so nobody mention it again unless anyone knows specifically what it's a reference to.
