It is odd how Snape and Lemony were playing out a similar character role in books published during a similar period of time. So I think there's probably nothing wrong with that headcanon. The only major difference between Snape and Lemony, was that Snape's feelings for Lily were one-sided. Lemony and Beatrice were actually engaged at one point.

22. Wart faced man from TBB is a husband of short-haired woman and a father of three short guys. I'm pretty impressed that you even remember these characters. But they are the other half of Olaf's theatre troupe, after all. I like your new avatar, Dante. BTW, I am made an interview in Fearsome Fiction with three short guys.

1. Kit has a talent for cutting hair and was a trained beautician before she became a teacher. 2. She often cut Monty's hair for him, and many other of her friends. 3. Ike had the ability to do body piercings and tattoos, though he never did it professionally. 4. He did piercings/tattoos for his friends. 5. He pierced Josephine's ears for her when they were teenagers, as well as her tongue and bellybutton.

colette's 22 reminded me of another of mine:
20. The wart-faced man is the manager of the theatre. He is not a henchperson of Olaf's, but an independent villain who was cooperating with him, like Dr Orwell.

The reason Jacques was dressed as Count Olaf was that he planned to smuggle the orphans out of the village of fowl devotees and recruit them into VFD/provide a safe home. He was murdered before he could, of course.

1. Beatrice knew that Olaf was going to burn down the mansion, and the day before contacted Lemony Snicket (the character), asking him to write the story of the children. Willing to do anything for his beloved, he agreed, and now Olaf is trying to prevent this, which is why he's constantly hinted at being in danger.
2. (And I admit, I got this idea from a fan fiction) After Beatrice died, Lemony Snicket thought about suicide.

R's name is ring, because of the ring that Ishmael mentions in TE, and she hides it because she thinks its a wired name.

Well, that's not beyond the bounds of possibility. It's unlikely to be disproven - then again, R. could show up in ATWQ and it would be the perfect opportunity to casually introduce her full name.

I'm surprised at the amount of people who believe R was in love with Beatrice. I used that premise as part of a Weird Ship a few years ago.

Can't we just put aside our differences and agree on "R. was in love with somebody"?

Somehow, Dante, I don't think that will convince people. I definitely support Sixteen's theory. (And yes, it would be wonderful to have her turn up in ATWQ - I did hypothesise a while ago that some mysteries we aren't especially worried about, like Fernald's surname, might be answered, and this would be a perfect example of that sort of thing.)

I don't think the R is actually an R. I think the symbol displayed in TUA is some sort of a monogram or royal cypher, and it's R plus another letter that may be her actual initial.
