🍾🍾 Congrats to all of our winners (and thanks for the nomination + votes for Best Profile Dec)! I’m really impressed by the quality of these banners.

I forgot to mention, I really love Uncle Algernon 's banner for Funniest Member with the creepy Tim-Burton-esque character!

Congrats Bear and Terry. We'd better wait till all the results are in (though it begins to look as if we will never know Most Notorious), but the Bear-Terries next year is looking a distinct possibility.
Terry: no, the rule is just that it should have been posted in this year - note the past victory of OARLCT. And in any case, Raddest Book Covers also began in 2016.
EDIT: In fairness to the organisers of the Bear-Terries, they have both won BPD before, so their victory there cannot be entirely due to everyone else having left. Indeed, in eight years of the award's existence, they have between them won it five times.

Hello, everyone! Next up is the Linda Award for Most Valued Poster, celebrating outstanding members of the community, in memory of the example set by our wonderful Linda Rhaldeen. All of those nominated have contributed much to the forum in their own special way! trip was in the running for MVP as a kind of transplant from Most Conspicuously Absent, being one of the most effective administrators ever through sheer non-existence, like the free hand of the market, or Giuseppe Verdi. This unorthodox tactic is reflected in her number of votes: 0. Pulling just ahead is the world's most unlikely ménage à trois with Reba , Cracky McTeague , and Dante tied with 1 vote each. Bear and Terry, of course, are the winners of Best Pairing, relegating Dante to a comfortable chair to watch and maybe offer constructive criticism. El Juanico Diez is next, riding a veritable tidal wave of theories and good-natured argument to a respectable 2 votes. Of course, I could be lying about this. I am known to be very unreliable as a narrator. Coming just short of the win is Hermes , with 3 votes and an endless repertoire of ways to wish someone a happy birthday. If you put down a false birth date when you made your account, I hope you recognize the sham you've made of Hermes' life. Despicable. Finally, the winner of the Linda Award: Geru Tosz , with a whopping 4 votes! That's 1 1/3 times as many as Hermes, 2 times as many as Jeanlucio, 4 times as many as the Odd Couple (and also Dante), and a̴̡̡̹̝͇̯̼͉͉͋̌̀å̴̠̘̭̙͋̀̚͝ä̶̰͍́͗͋Á̴͎̩̭̯͓̈͑Ǎ̵̺̦̣̳̞H̴̥͎̼̹̮͍͑̇̉̑H̷͇̮̲͇̲͕̣̮̭̩͊ͅH̶̡̛̲̱͖͈̮̖͒͑̐͂̕ times as many as trip! The Zorties being just the latest example, Zortegus' contributions to the forum are indescribable, which makes my job easy. Congratulations Zortegus!

It wouldn't be a 667 Dark Avenue award ceremony without a presenter ghosting us and not presenting their award in time. This year, the lazy one is You Look Lost , who seems to be too busy holding hands with Anka to appear *golf claps* Actually, it's no surprise that the award he was supposed to present is "Best Organizer". Somehow, he managed to win this award in the past, but not this year, since he wasn't even nominated. Instead, we had Songbird as one of our nominees, who has been organizing the Summer Reading Club every year for a while now. Even though that takes a lot of work and effort, she only got one vote. On the same page, veryferociousdrama has been organizing the re-read project this year, which became an important element to keep the forum alive after the show ended. Surprisingly, he only got two votes. Last, but not least, Geru Tosz aka myself was nominated for organizing these awards and also that interview to Joe Tracz earlier this year. Seems like people liked my work, since they made me win this Zortie with a total of ten votes.
The questionable banner Reba made for me:
Thank you so much to everyone! You're beautiful.

Terry: no, the rule is just that it should have been posted in this year - note the past victory of OARLCT. And in any case, Raddest Book Covers also began in 2016. Damn it! Oh well, next year then, I guess. Thanks for the head's up, H. EDIT: In fairness to the organisers of the Bear-Terries, they have both won BPD before, so their victory there cannot be entirely due to everyone else having left. Indeed, in eight years of the award's existence, they have between them won it five times. I don't really know what you're talking about... I've won BP once before but it was between Pen and I (I think? We might've lost, actually) Pulling just ahead is the world's most unlikely ménage à trois with Reba , Cracky McTeague , and Dante tied with 1 vote each. Bear and Terry, of course, are the winners of Best Pairing, relegating Dante to a comfortable chair to watch and maybe offer constructive criticism. I am thoroughly disgustipated. Conga rats, Zortegus for being da real MVP & Best Organ(izea)! And this seems to be the right time to thank you for organizing the Zorties! I am also very pleased you took my suggestion from last year into account of visibly crediting the banner-makers. Also it looks very wrong to see my profile pic on pandora's body :=|

See? Next time you'll think twice when I ask you to give me a picture. Anyway, I'll close this year's ceremony thanking everyone for collaborating doing presentations, banners, receiving the awards, commenting, keeping it nice and fun and etc. THE FINAL RESULTS Violent BUN Fortuna got a total of 1 (one) Zorties. Cafe SalMONAlla got a total of 1 (one) Zorties. El Juanico Diez got a total of 2 (two) Zorties. Geru Tosz got a total of 2 (two) Zorties. Foxy got a total of 3 (three) Zorties. Cracky McTeague got a total of 3 (three) Zorties. Reba got a total of 4 (four) Zorties. That means we'll have the Bearies on 2020, whether or not he decides to organize them. Hooray! Congratulations to everyone and see you next year or something.

Final congratulations to all; it's been a success of an awards season and I applaud everyone involved, whether they won or awarded winnings (or even just spectated), for making this event and this forum what it is today.

I feel like the best volunteer and the best Arsonist at the same time ... And this is so incredible! Terry, thanks for the two Banners. You're an incredible artist! Thank you! And bear... Que Bacana mesmo! ... Did I receive 100% of the votes as most notorious?
